That is one of the most retarded takes I've ever heard. If there's no frame limiter on some games, the hardware can fail, this is a clear software issue causing hardware failure.
In some instances, a dodgy driver or windows update can brick a GPU, it has happened before.
In the case of motherboards, an improper update of a Bios can brick the motherboard, this is a clear software issue effecting a hardware failure.
Didn't this exact thing happen with that Amazon games MMO? I remember people complaining it was bricking even expensive GPUs like 4090s.

He also get nervous writing code on stream, that's why he hasn't worked on Hearthbound.
Didn't seem nervous at all when people were gargling his cock like he was the second coming of coding Jesus.

Maybe it's not writing code that makes you nervous, FerretFaggot, it's doing a mediocre job of it after portraying yourself as a superhacker guru, and knowing that people other than your audience will be watching.

Oh, better watch what you say in here or the big mean Ex-lawyer Lead Moderator Khronos will get youuu :story:

Jason talks about the monthly updates that he will be doing on Heartbound.

Jason explains why he doesn't want to work on Heartbound in a live setting.

Jason announces that he will be publishing the game created by one of his employees.

Jason answers a chatter's question: "When do you plan finishing [Heartbound's] development?"

Jason answers a chatter's question part 2: "What's the timeline of building up the [ferret] rescue?"

Oh, a classic! It's the "chick-fil-a pickle brine" reddit meme repackaged into a smugly presented short which misses the point entirely and isn't even correct on its own.

It's a year old but I just noticed it in my home feed today.

It's not the pickle brine, it's breading and deep frying chicken competently which in this video is relegated to just the words "fry that shit". Deep frying makes chicken (and most other things) taste good but it's generally a big pain in the ass to do at home especially if you're unfamiliar. It's a food that should be eaten only occasionally yet benefits greatly from specialized equipment, which makes it very reasonable as a food to avoid making at home and only have at restaurants.

Done competently, this Short could be a great teaching moment! There's so much to talk about!
  • The different oils you can deep fry in (veg, peanut, soy avocado, etc)
  • How to filter and reuse oil
  • Good pans to deep fry in: a wok's shape lends itself well to home deep frying and has all kinds of other uses.
  • General brining techniques that also work for people who don't eat a shitload of pickles.
Pickle brine is a fine idea if you happen to eat a lot of pickles, but it's at best a marginal improvement over even the most basic brine and nothing in this short even close to indicates that- if you're brining it at all, you're probably already using salt and vinegar which is a few herbs away from already being pickle brine. Talking about pickle brine and never mentioning brining at all is lifehack-obsessed redditor behavior.

Informing a young audience on how to make the most of your expensive ingredients is a great thing, which is why it's pisses me off so much that this very popular guy sucks so much at it. If you wanna play surrogate daddy, at least teach something marginally more useful than what your average audience member has probably already read online. Come on, you've got the runtime! YouTube Shorts can be 3 minutes these days!

Z-tier cooklet e-daddy. Ethan Chlebowski mogs you lil bro.

Deboonks on the legitimacy of the original pickle juice meme can be found as easily as this video's comments, as well as plenty of fighting over technicalities. I grabbed a large part of the thread to provide a diverse autistic sampler plate.

And that's just taking into account talking about your average desktop computer, if you go outside of that and into the realm of literally anything that runs software then there are as many examples of it as there are specks of cocaine dust in the Rekieta household, many of them resulting not only in loss of hardware but loss of life.

People over two decades ago, not just specialists but the fucking general public were aware of the potential of this happening, it was called the y2k craze and it was kind of a big fucking deal even if it ended not amounting to much. Somehow this retard believes that twenty five fucking years after y2k (a longer timespan than what the smartphone as a concept has existed for since the first iphone was released in 2007) software has not completely and utterly encroached on every field to the point it can cause catastrophic failure of whatever it is controlling? this take coming after a single IT outage managed to rack up over $10 Bn in damages last year? this nigger has to be some sort of live experiment of how to create the perfect retard.

"chick-fil-a pickle brine"
This retard eats an entire jar of pickles to brine his chicken in JUST THAT before frying it? I literally just pour buttermilk and SOME of the pickle juice from the jar into a container, (you don't have to eat all of them, jesus) mix it up and then marinate it in that overnight before the egg wash and coating it in the flour, herb and spice mixture to go into the oil.

Honestly,
he mentions that he will maybe hire someone. I think he isn't as stupid as YanDev.
He will pull off Elon grift, by hiring someone to do everything. While Maldy will take most credit.
This can backfire spectacularly if he has a falling-out with the person he hires to finish the game.

After all he has experience in corporate grifting. And he kept himself afloat by taking credit of group effort before.

If he pulls this, he will have long life of grifting as indie dev on twitch ahead.
At least Elon Musk has the balls to say he did boost his PoE2 account to beat the fucking asian cheaters, unlike Mald
