I'm not gonna stop being skeptical because of one day in office, but holy fuck what a first day. Really sets the tone for the next 4 years when he slaps his dick on the table (metaphorically in the form of 26 executive orders) as soon as he walks in the room.

Honestly, it would have been worth winning this last election just to free the J6 people alone. Not only did Trump free these people, but he called them "hostages" in the press conference. Unambiguously good and just and based.

I could gush about this for hours because this was a major moral and psychological victory for our side. Those men and women were literally political prisoners, and he's proven that he didn't forget about them. It took him four years, but now he's freed them from a position of strength. They can breathe easy knowing the feds won't continue breathing down their necks while Trump is still in office. Liberation Day indeed.

I still have my criticisms and misgivings but for now I'm content to win.

I've never set foot on the US, and have no impact on its politics aside from whatever my habit of arguing with strangers on the Internet might do, but Trump's reelection, mandate, and initial actions make me hopeful. I choose to interpret them as a sign that things are actually beginning to return to normalcy, that reality-denying nonsense will be driven into the ground and stay there for a long time (:optimistic:), and people around the world will start to turn on the idiotic globalist politicians and agendas.

Good luck to you Burgers, and I sincerely wish you guys become great again.

I'm not gonna stop being skeptical until he reverses his Billion Jeet stance. Even if he wants to glaze the Jeet race, letting millions in would just lead to racial tensions a la Canada or Britain.
If what he says on this does become policy, Trump's term might be a greater neoliberal trainwreck than the last two decades ever were. Let's hope protectionism actually carries weight this time around
This better be real for me to have any hope in this admin
