It's actually insane how Trump is signing hundreds of executive orders completely redrawing the political landscape in the US but the left is so distracted by Elon's autism they're not offering any pushback to what Trump is doing.

Even the mainstream media is no longer pushing the Nazi salute nonsense anymore but leftists on twitter and reddit just can't stop screeching about it. I guess discussing the executive orders and their ramifications is too difficult for them. Easier to sperg endlessly about an autists overexcited arm gesture.

Redditors are fucking retarded.
The focus on the spergy salute seems like a distraction purposely picked so people continue to deny the reality of EOs, the destruction of gender and it’s foothold should be bigger news but of course anything related to “TRUMP IS HITLER, ELON IS HITLER!!” is picked up instantly.
I thought the shit show would be bigger but clearly not, I wonder if the R = Nazis mantra will ever be dropped, even while the world changes right under the feet of the echo chamber.

Godspeed, burgers. Nice read catching up to all the posts.

You do understand that keeping Trump is nothing but stalling for the inevitable downfall?
What do you think will happen when Trump's gone?
That's right. Back to good ol' status quo.

I'm always astonished to see how people naively celebrate something they have no control over. History has been set in motion for decades and the West has crossed its tipping point a while ago, demographically, ideologically, spiritually. Only thing that's keeping this sinking ship afloat is its economy that's been seriously undermined with the successive crisis and poor political decisions.

Enjoy the comfort of your delusion, it's only a matter of time for reality to catch up on you.

Where is your burger suit, nigger?

There is nothing wrong with fentanyl. its cheap and safe. The issue is the fentanyl being added to other drugs and the purchaser not knowing and then OD'ing on it. The real issue is the the proliferation of Narcan, which should be outlawed except for minors under 14 and first responders. But fent being in the room with you wont kill you. Who are we really losing to fent? Besides St. Floyd...
A friend from Ohio said his town stopped using Narcan on people with previous OD's known to their ems and their OD deaths went down because the druggies realized that they couldn't push their limits as much.

This mornings agenda will be some unadulterated heresy, courtesy of the Episcopal Church of America.

National Prayer Service, interfaith, where they will let Jews, Muslims and whoever offer prayers to their heathen gods before the Altar. I can understand the "need" for an interfaith prayer service, but holding it in a Church, no less the National Cathedral is pretty annoying. That's the Episcopalians for you though. Sucks that they have so much institutional power with the political elite since they used to be the official State religion prior to the 1st Amendment.

alright ive had plenty of doomer szhizo posts in the past but how about a based, hopium filled szhizo post

First Trump is saved not once but twice from literal assassination attempts with one just grazing his ear

Second his largest potential political opponent has a fire of BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS that makes said political opponent trumps lapdog and unable to block his major reform efforts without jeopardizing his federal funding, not to mention how much of an arrow in the already dead carcass of DEI the whole fire was and is.

Finally he is send a very strong winter storm to make the coldest inauguration in a long time, forcing it indoors and not allowing any bad actors to disrupt the proceedings

its God everywhere you look, he loves us and, if I can dream boldly, perhaps these last 4 years was us as a nation or people having to experience what Lot had to and we did not break so our father has seen fit to reward our perseverance.

sorry if this is all needlessly optimistic or even just wrong, Im just so filled with optimism today

There is definitely something biblical going on right now. Not trying to sound like a missionary but from all the shit that's happened to Trump in the past 4 years it's a miracle he's survived. God is watching over him.

What you guys haven't noticed yet, is that this order low-key spells doom for Maduro - his government is deeply tied with the Venezuelan cartel "Tren de Aragua" (Aragua Train).

1737474403409.png

Specifically, regarding the Tren de Aragua – a criminal group that Trump referred to on multiple occasions during the electoral campaign in speeches stigmatizing all Venezuelan migrants – his government will order the deportation of all people who are considered “members” of the gang, according to an official of the transition team in a call with journalists.

This group, which emerged in a Venezuelan prison and has a presence in several South American countries, was already sanctioned in July of this year by the Treasury Department under the Administration of Democrat Joe Biden.

MS-13, with origins and presence in El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, has also been sanctioned by the US Treasury since 2012, under the presidency of Barack Obama (2009-2017).

The decision to include these groups on the list of terrorist organizations could have consequences both for migrants seeking to reach the US, as well as for companies that have business in Mexico, as experts have warned.

Organized crime in the U.S.A. ‘s neighboring country has extended its networks into human trafficking, which has become one of the most lucrative industries for these groups.

At the same time, extortion of businesses by criminal groups is “widespread” in Mexico. According to findings from a study published last year by the American Chamber of Commerce, 45% of businesses with ties to the U.S. reported having been extorted by one of these gangs.
Maduro and his cronies ought to be very, VERY afraid.

Goddamn, I popped off the farms early, figuring this thread would just devolve into a lotta back and forth on when he'd start making the first moves on actual meaningful things, expecting the first batch of EO's to just be boilerplate nothingburgers. Instead, I come back this morning to the Gulf of America, total narco death, total tranny death, and generally just great fucking shit. Makes me want my slice of Canada to secede over all the more.

It isn't that easy. They are hiding and scattering those compounds, and unless Darpa makes a Cocain-o-finder 9000 (and CIA doesn't make it dissappear) it will be one hell of a very expensive whackamole, especially if you just dropped a giant bomb on all the evidence and un-interrogated criminals.
It'd still be a lot more effective than you'd think. A lotta dumb kids get into it because they see it as the path to riches outta shitty do-nothing slumtowns, and the drug lords take advantage of those kids. But when the drug lords mansion is on fire and some narco truck is getting jdam'd every other week, those people are going to dry up. And its a huge blow to their profile and prestige to be dying and having their shit burning down every time they surface. Yea, you could be an underground drug lord and never use the wealth, never show yourself in public, and never benefit from the power your theoretically accumulating, but I'd imagine there's far fewer people willing to do that, and far less bloodthirsty ones at that.

Just because you can't kill all the cockroaches, doesn't mean its not worth it to kill the ones that keep coming out and causing trouble.

It's almost like the country is on fire and in decay because the people in power cared more about how things looked than what the reality of any situation was

Regarding the J6 pardons I think back to Null's take on it at the time, his cynicism and disappointment, and complete disillusionment with Trump. I have a feeling that right then if you'd asked him if he thought there was any chance Trump would be president again, he'd have said no, maybe if you go back and listen he even made such a prediction, I can't recall. But of course he'd have been wrong.

Trump didn't persecute those prisoners; he didn't lie about them or seek undue sentences, and he didn't abuse them in prison. But he probably should have seen most of that coming, and they spent FOUR YEARS suffering it. Trump too was persecuted in shambolic trials, and survived assassination, and in between 2020 and 2024, the valence of the "concerned for democracy" voter had shifted considerably. Members and allies of the Democratic Party did some politically stupid stuff, and they missed just as surely, and counterproductively, as that bullet.

So Trump's decision in the second and third weeks of January 2021 was probably politically smart, and allowed some big own goals from his opposition. And maybe it was even "right"; but a lot of people waited four years for reprieve, who had believed in and fought for him personally, so it takes a pretty utilitarian morality to call that right. It certainly was not brave, and what he did for them today is not brave. It's the bare minimum. As they reenter society it would be good of him to do more.

EDIT: Reflecting on some others' posts on the subject, perhaps the weak part of this argument is in saying that the prisoners' treatment was foreseeable. It would be interesting to go back and look at a timeline of those two weeks, and I do recall they largely were not charged until much later. I will say though, rhetoric against them and about the event generally was probably more maximalist in the immediate aftermath than it is now, when more information and footage has emerged to counter narratives about intent and violence.
