So, basically punk started from rebellious teens that appropriated whatever culture that "looked cool" without knowing its historical lore/content. Rebellious being disruptive, obnoxious, anarchists. @Syaoran Li could confirm if he wants. How embarrassing that they're not aware that they're part of the system they are supposedly against.
Not exactly. It was a lot of artists doing stripped-down music and toying with both lyrics and fashion that went against the grain (The Ramones, X-Ray Spex, The Stranglers). A lot of music through the 70's was what we now call AOR and yacht rock. Progressive rock was also seen as self-indulgent. A lot of punk music is elegantly simple and much more a "return to form" with straightforward riffs. Bernie Rhodes picked up on this and marketed the shit out of it. Then anarcho-punks hated it. Then there was a second wave of punk in 1982 which was all the younger generation trying their own hand at it after growing up listening to the bands of the late 70's.

Punk got its rebellious label through the 80's much moreso.

At its core, though, punk is DIY and individualistic. Do what you want, but do it yourself, do it for yourself, and do it the best you can. Nowadays, most punks are really just giant music dorks with more aggressive clothing. If someone calls themselves "punk" and tells you what to do, and you're not hurting or bothering anyone, they're fucking posers.

Regarding the Elon salute situation, could that be a red herring to distract from the ton of executive orders Trump signed?
I think he's just an autistic retard who did a funny movement in an environment where if they can find a way to make you look like you did a forbidden gesture, they will.

Hell, if he gave someone the OK or Peace Signs, they'd claim he was throwing "known White Supremacist" signs.

A friend from Ohio said his town stopped using Narcan on people with previous OD's known to their ems and their OD deaths went down because the druggies realized that they couldn't push their limits as much.
Remember, the left's theory was that the best way to handle druggies is to let them do as much drugs as you like while the government babysits them, on your dime, forever. Literally, this was an idea pushed in the 80s that they've never given up: Social centers where druggies can go bring their narcotics to and do them while a bunch of free nurses and doctors observe to make sure they don't OD.

Some serious Brave New World shit there.

punk has always been a fashion outfit. all that diy shit involved selling the spikey studs or steel toed boots or gay ass t shirts and records.

Trump does seem to be preparing to go full Teddy Roosevelt on Latin America. Looks like the days of permissively ignoring all the shenanigans is over.
As he should IMO. If we can successfully build them up institutionally, we'd have much better trading partners right in our backyard. Monroe doctrine was dope.

I had a coworkers daughter die to Fent. I think at this point most American's are two degrees of separation max from a Fentanyl death.
Did it just sneak up on her in a parking lot and stab her in the back, or was she a junky? We arent losing the best and brightest to fent. If a bunch of people start dying from drugs from Mexico, people will stop buying drugs from Mexico. Dont do drugs and you probably wont be killed by it. Easy. If Americans are this close to a bunch of junkies, thats indicative of another problem all together. The decriminalization of drugs and the overall increased acceptance of degeneracy is the actual issue at hand.

^ This. It also incentives people to get clean because they see someone die from drug use, instead of seeing people wake up consequence free from a hot dose.

These people are trying to escape life, why are we so hell bent on forcing them to keep living?

You can blow up mansions, but they are in the jungle. A new Boss will just rise, some are bred and born psychos who beheaded their way to the top.

These jungle compounds are hard to find, especially if you don't want to waste bombs on regular farmers and injuns hunting monkeys.

It would be an unholy crossover of Gaza+Vietnam
Its really awesome that there is a jungle terrorist compound with respawning enemies so close for our special forces to train at.

Nation-building didn't go so well in the Middle East/Africa the last few times....But I will give Latinos some credit because they appear to be somewhat better at maintaining civilization as long as the white-ish Latinos are the ones running the show.

I take it you haven't seen this glorious salt in the wild?

Remember, if you don't obey the scene chick whore who wasn't alive when 90% of punk bands were active's shitty politics that change on a daily basis based on what she's told by corporations, you can't be a non-conformist! It's impossible! Only people who obey the club president's side piece's commands and are heckin' wholesome corporate friendly bootlickers can be non-conformists! The rest are just playing like, angry music loudly without talent or understanding, and that's not punk ™️!

As an aside, this song drove these cuntflaps absolutely goddamned insane:
