A shooting war in mexico is going to start Helter Skelter ethnic struggles across america. there's plenty of people in america that believe california and texas are mexican property, plenty of latin mothers cnn is going to broadcast crying " Mijo es un hijo beuno, no hizo nada!" while the cops drag out corpses with cartel tattoos out of burning cars. I doubt ms13 will sit back while our army blows up their contacts in mexico. it's bound to happen.
then we'll have our minutemen shooting up legal latin americans because theyre retarded. its exactly what i don't want to live through.
Oh and for the record to everyone here let me make my position a little clearer. Memeing aside I don't want the US to actually go TCD in the form of bombs, missiles, and AC-130s floating in the skies. Ok maybe the AC-130 part can stay if we do black ops because AC-130s are cool. This isn't necessarily due to fear of reprisal attacks or riots, but because it's not the solution we need right now, and it has the potential to devolve into another forever war. Going full ham on Mexico right now wouldn't really solve the problem beyond a couple of years maybe a decade implying it works. The whole "sending boots en-masse across the border" should be the very last resort in our toolbelt if we're being sensible, and should only really be more of a deterrent.
What I do want is smaller-scale operations in the form of taking out the worst offenders in raids, and precision strikes if applicable. One thing I do know is that the cartels will certainly hide among the civilian population of Mexico to deter US strikes if it got to that point. Compared to the last administration of letting the fucking border stay wide the fuck open I want the message sent that we do in fact see what you're doing down there, and we are very willing to kill you if you keep it up. This isn't the America of "do nothing lol"
It sucks that it has to even come to this, but an increase in the militarization of the southern border will also help. Border too porous? Then fucking close the leaks. I don't care how that's done whether it's the Great Wall of America, armed guards, landmines, or all fucking three just get it done.
Something needs to get done regardless of cnn recording people crying and bitching. Trump has the Mandate of Heaven for 2 years, and all 4 if we're lucky and he just keeps winning even in the midterms. The fact we are even discussing this at all right now shows people are getting fed up, and the old leftist tactics of crying brown people might not be as effective as some of you fear.
