I've largely backed off of promo reviews, but this one warrants one. I won't hyperanalyze every detail and I'll try to keep it brief. Promo dropped over 3 hours ago.
1) Christmas decos STILL up (it almost seems like it's just a fuck you to the Farms at this point) with the addition of the championship belt from Ashton's side project with Phil.
2) The same can be said with the tism rocking and the tism bouncing. Ashton needs a harness for his chair.
3) For fuck's sake Andy, given how active your background was for Kinoween, Kinogiving and Kinomas, you can at least put SOMETHING in your background to not appear like you're streaming from the backrooms. Or did you sell decos for drug money?
4) "I don't even know why I'm laughing, this is awful." You're god damned near 40, how hard is it to delay laughing until the sentence is finished so you can determine whether a laugh is warranted? Christ, if you're in broadcasting, this is unacceptable, like Ashton's inability to run OBS at even the most cursory level.
5) A wifebeater is bad enough any other time of year (although Andy's role in DV has always been of the receiver), but wear two layers in the winter at all times. I'll give Ashton a pass on the t-shirt, because it's a first offense and he incorporated it into his rant, thus justifying the single layer.
6) To draw a parallel to the villain of the Incredibles, when everything is high energy, nothing is high energy. Turning it up to 11 at all times completely diminishes the effect of turning it up to 11. Without modulation, it might as well just be a droll read. Without modulation, high energy is indistinguishable from low energy. It is called contrast.
Added in edit: A couple days back, the Cathedral channel was consistently misspelling Rekieta as Rekeita and now it appears to use both spellings in alteration. Check out the titles on the Cathedral channel. Did Ashton edit his vid titles and get tired halfway through the process or what? Either way, the fact that some Rekieta spellings were corrected indicate that he got that information off the farms, given how long it went undetected by everyone.
