that's def. not true, or rather, depends on how far you stretch the term intersex. XY with a vagina is a somewhat common one, for example. No uterus tho.
Basically transgender by default, if you care much about chromosomes. Also often look end up looking kinda masculine, none the less.
And almost none are functional as either men or women when it comes to fertility. The whole idea of cutting people up to artificially make them one gender or the other - just cosmetically - started with people not wanting to acknowledge that. They were and are cutting oversized clits to size and are giving some ppl like that vaginoplasties, janking their testicles out and injecting them estrogen etc, because dang nature just didn't know the fetus was XX or XY or XXY or whatever and supposed to be either or. But I never actually thought they would really stamp out all this madness, or rather the root of it. No ones daring to actually touch doctors or pharma ever.
