Officials gathered in Washington earlier today at the Anglican Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul for what was billed as a National Prayer Service. What they were subjected to, instead, was a scolding from the temple's crossdressing high priestess. Newly re-anointed US President, Donald Trump, remained stoic and attentive as the arch-witch thinly veiled her passive-aggressive taunts behind a smirking grin; the President's closest associates however, his wife, First Lady Melania, and his vice president, James Vance, both devout Christians, could not hide their disappointment with the sorceress' flagrant abuse of power.
Transvestite witch, Mariann Edgar Budde, wearing the vestments and bearing the crosier of a Christian bishop, invoked the Lord's Name in vain to crybully the restored President on his second day back in office, claiming on behalf of the Americans who re-elected him that they were scared of him, even for their lives. Her diatribe was dotted with dogwhistles to the sinister wing of the already revolutionary republic; nods to "gay, lesbian, and transgender children," racist codewords for trafficked slaves, and allusions to the legacy of European conquest, painted vague impressions of unnamed objects for the mercy she sardonically begged of the US President.
The First Lady stared daggers into the crossdressing priestess from her seat in the captive audience. Vice President Vance, a few seats over, was raising and furrowing his brows in incredulity at the witch's audacious weaponisation of the pulpit. President Trump, for his part, did not betray any visible response to the enchantress' invective, until after the ceremony when she approached him with a proud smirk, which he met with one of his own, one which seemed to say that her enchantment had failed to faze him.
