Given how incredibly long and drawn out the federal hiring process is I can promise this isn’t as big a deal as it seems. I highly doubt most of those jobs would have been properly filled during the next 90 days due to the nightmare hiring process that is currently in place. It sucks for those people because getting a job without nepotism in the government is a bitch assuming that’s the case for some of them.
