I’d be thrilled to be proven wrong, but I don’t see how this is going to finally damn Reddit, or change much at all honestly. It looks like most subreddits are advocating for only allowing screenshots from Twitter and banning links to it. Aren’t Twitter screenshots half of all Reddit content on any given day anyways? Actual external link posts fell off a decade ago, which is all the more reason why no one there ever reads any linked articles or papers on the site and just comments on how the post’s title makes them feel instead.
