Some things you should be mad about (although they likely don't warrant the cutting of ties), but these idiots act like anyone who makes you uncomfortable needs banished so you can retreat to your pillow fort.

I saw one a few months ago of a teen girl complaining that her parents used the money she was going to use to go on a trip with friends to buy something for her severely handicapped sibling. Granted, this was supposed to be her first weekend getaway in a good number of years, so I'll give her that. However, her parents wanted her to babysit her handicapped sibling for a couple hours so they could have some time to themselves. She let everyone know that they usually just drove around for a few hours and didn't do anyting that would cost money, so it's not like they were taking the vacation she wanted for herself.

I bet you can guess the Reddit response. Once you graduate, cut them off and let them know that you're throwing them in the crappiest nursing home you can find as soon as they show signs of slowing down! Because that's a normal response to a disagreement you have as a teen.

Now I always consider, when reading those posts: we're only hearing one side. What would the people being complained about have to say? I bet most of those stories, assuming they're true at all and not just invented for Internet points, have two sides to them and the OP is naturally describing themselves as a saint and omitting a lot of what they did to prompt those kinds of reactions and behaviors.

It was the bird flu last week I like helping people out with their farm birds but everyone wanted to tell me stuff I learned when I was a child not to do or their talking points are just old wives tales. This is not true in every sub. Some subs have chosen to allow screenshots of X. Some have chosen to ban X entirely.

I have noticed that in many of these threads that some of the users are very aware that this is a powermod situation where the few powermods on the site are dictating what every sub must do. It's obvious that this is very disingenuous. Banning access or the ability to cover news from one of the other biggest website in the world becaus "elon bad" is fucking retarded.
