We need a stone toss "comics?" meme.

Nothing says liberty, freedom, tolerance and open mindedness like "THINK LIKE I TELL YOU OR BE PUNISHED/BLACKLISTED!" These same types of fuckwads who hyperventilate about fantasy nazis everywhere, like to forget that he people and tactics they base their ideology and arguments off of, oppressed, tormented and MURDERED more people than the nazis could have dreamed of. Just because we affix more sinister motivations to the nazis murders, doesn't change these basic facts. Hundreds of millions have been murdered or killed in the name of the ideal and rhetoric they now preach and use to justify oppression and suppression.

I think shit like this will just create unironic Nazis and it's gonna be worse than the edgy skinheads of the 70s/80s/90s (does George Lincoln Rockwell count I doubt he unironically believed in it, it was a grift for him)

I simply cannot grasp the mindset of these people. They honestly believe that Elon Musk decided to get up on stage in front of the whole world and do a few Sieg Heil Nazi salutes? It boggles the mind and really underscores how detached from reality their understanding of the world is. Maybe they really believe there are literal Nazis everywhere.

When even the ADL tells you you're jumping the gun on accusations of antisemitism, it's time to question yourself.
It's easy, you can comment orange man bad, Elon Musk bad, Fauci bad, Epstein bad and so on. Which one gives the most updoots right now? So that means there's a shitton of users dogpiling because their sticker dopamine has been conditioned them to. Then the rest of the retards see all of these comments saying how bad this guy is so they will go with it. Now we have an environment where the current popular to hate guy has his every moment dissected so they can make more popular posts on reddit.

I think redditors only actually believe it's a sieg heil because everyone else who's motivated for attention told them it is so.

I keep seeing the robots and redditards bring up that banning X on their reddit sub will help "force/push" the communities, officials and fandoms they represent off of x and onto BS.. They actually think that they matter, let alone on a scale large enough to affect X... Or that they are driving X traffic, not using it content for themselves. :story:

The bots are certainly mobilized on this now. Brigading is if full unrestrained effect. (complete with vote totals on mid and smaller subs orders greater than normal traffic.. all showing up to post the same two or three word approvals for bans) There were actual debates and arguments before, now it's just the one or two word bot accounts in mass everywhere.

r/nfl is having it's "vote" and it is just like every other sub. Mono opinions.

Also a good one from "Am I The Asshole" that really truly happened... (i hope.. pretty shitty if it did happen and not totally really did):

AITAH for discontinuing my nephew’s scholarship after seeing his social media post being proud to Elon's Nazi gesture? (A)

So many people seem to be falling for it hysterically. Insisting that he be cut off and never forgiven for fear of a fake turn. It really doesn't take much once you push the right buttons. lol

They're also on the "No X!" Train

It's amazing you can tell the OP's personality from just one exclamation point.

"HTTrack" That's good!
"Stored in the cloud" That's not as good.

A small subreddit i use has most posts with around 700 upvotes, a few posts per week get 2 or 3 thousand.

Then yesterday an extremely organic 40 thousand upvotes post appeared demanding X links to be banned.
What a joke, literally a mob of tourists and bots invading random subreddits to shit them up and cower the locals into submission (with support of the mods im sure). Must be redditors

subreddits are starting to ask their mods to start banning posts that have X links, but it's totally because the website just sucks and not because all of reddit is seething at Elon doing the nazi salute

I think there's another reason for it on sports subs too, the mods and approved posters want to karma farm. If anyone can post a Twitter link because it's verifiable information and you only get upvoted once and all the information is in the thread, but if you switch to screenshots you can say "only approved posters can post screenshots" and double down by putting the full context in the comments.

Supposedly some subs are tying to ban Twitter/X links because of the Elon roman salute thing. Article
Since some of them just go on various subreddits asking Twatter to be banned, people on stupidpol are hypothesizing that a lot of the comments are bots. As Kane said, it's not organic.

Go read a few of the different subs. The early subs/topics started really neutral and even anti.. by a few hours or the time of the announcement thread.. They all are exactly the same. An endless stream of two or three word replies.. all agreeing and praising. Every thread across the site are the same. Small subs with ten times the votes of normal activity etc etc. Interestingly, more official subs like ask mods and ask reddit, all places bots wouldn't be needed, or a good idea to use, are just like the early topics.

r/SteamDeck has joined the banning of Twitter. (Archive.)

Hilariously, they state that it isn't politically motivated while also directly stating that they are banning it because they don't want to encourage "sending traffic to a website with direct connections to nazism, antisemitism, racism, or other bigotry." They also even admit that this is rather pointless as links to X were "rare" but of course, still had to make this completely non-political statement about politics they don't like.

The top comments are of course sucking them off for it, but there's a huge amount of comments if you scroll down openly calling them out for how fucking dumb this and their statement is.
