What I noticed is that there was such a PC padlock on the country (this was said in another way i think in this thread or another) that made people pensive to speak out about Obama even though he was just all talk and "LOL HE GETS US". Now that it's over people are getting that free speech out of the way. I hate when people claim they want this peace in America and "you can't divide us" but still follow up this race rhetoric and racebait this fucking hard.

Do other countries, especially in Europe have this problem? I feel like they don't.

They do have divides like that but only in western european parts that are "diverse" . In good homogenic cultures the divides are usually along the lines of commies and nationalists.

Also, I want to thank everybody here and in the whole USA who voted for Trump. You have made an amazing victory and I salute you!

Here’s an interesting angle that’s gotten overlooked… If Trump’s Twitter account is so horrible and a danger to the country, then why doesn’t Twitter just take it away from him? It’s their business, they can refuse to serve him. Lock the account, problem solved. It could very well have stopped him from getting elected.

Because Trump is the greatest thing to ever happen to Twitter. Every tweet pushes their platform back into the limelight. I’d bet money that Trump is on the Christmas card list of Twitter’s CEO.

Twitter is the id of the Internet. It is a never-ending train-wreck of outrage, controversy, and autism, and people just can’t seem to keep away. And yet they still can’t turn a profit. You’d think that a platform that has this much attention can come up with some way to monetize it.
