Why are they mad at us? As a reminder, a damn near perfect campaign with a fired up base and built of new bridges to new voting demographics vs a last minute basement campaign with some of the most canned soulless speeches ever was won by only a percentage of the popular vote. If the Dems ran literally anyone else, then we would be looking at a D president putting the final nails into the coffin for the American dream.

With this much shit they cant even make their cute little graphics or slogans that oversimplify the issue and give the moralfags waterjug talking points.

Even more fucking hilariously is even if they did those same dumb reactionaries are WAY to busy sperging out about elons salute than to listen to the unipartys manufactured talking points about how medicare costs is somehow going into the gorillians because trump.
I"m pretty sure Reddit is like /pol/— basically deat internet theory. Isreal, Russia, the CIA, and trannies blast them both with bots, they just have different settings on each website. Imagine, every hour of every day on every sub, nothing but "Elon is a Nazi - Day 734 of calling Elon a Nazi until he stops being one" destraction propoganda. There hasn't been an organic conversion on these platforms for a while.

Neg me all you want but 2 days does not a presidency make
Everything he's done is shallow optics and pandering, I'm still a massive doomer that nothing of substance will be done unless it involves tech or Israel
In two days, he completed how many campaign promises? Rome wasn't built in a day, but Trump finished a whole block in that time.

"But why didn't Trump just pardon them 2 weeks before the end of his term while he was busy trying to prove the obvious voter fraud that brought Biden up to winning at 4 AM out of the blue? Why didn't he pardon them?!"

BAMN -- and thus, the Mayor of Berkeley, just as an example -- funds the migrant caravans. This is now supporting Terrorism and you could see that little Asian communist chick black bagged off the street and thrown in a gitmo cell forever for it.

He ran a forum. He was arrested because he was the first guy who proved the fedboys were no longer able to just throw a single court order around and get complete control of something online. The "dark web" and the like. Scared the ever loving shit out of them and they needed to make an example out of him and set precedents to give them weapons (legal and otherwise) to use against others in the future.

Sadly, The ExKennedys came back and sued Jello Biafra because he wouldn't let them sell "Holiday in Cambodia" for a Levis Jeans commercial and didn't give them special extra large royalty checks from his barely alive Punk record label, Alternative Tentacles. A judge then found that despite having written the songs, sung the songs, and performed the songs with other band members and other bands, the songs were actually owned "by the concept and construct that is the Dead Kennedys band" and not Jello specifically. They then promptly replaced Jello after stealing his IP and got a different singer to make versions they can sell for advertisements. IIRC, the latest of which was a Toyota truck commercial ad.

There is, of course, a Dead Kennedys song about this sort of shit. (Fun fact: They did this at a major industry award show they were invited to for some fucking reason as a huge fuck you to everyone in attendance.)

Jello has faired little better. A decade or three back, at least 1 or 2 before we'd ever hear of them, he was jumped by Antifa at a show and his leg permanently fucked up -- they claimed he was a nazi. This is the same Jello who has ran as a Green Party candidate repeatedly throughout the years. He never recovered from having the lefties on "his side" pull that on him. Around the time Hillary decided to run he decided that despite literally putting out spoken word albums where he detailed the very real allegations that she's had people murdered and her ties to NeoCons and authoritarianism, up to and including intentionally helping the GOP win elections if it meant keeping the Greens out, he would endorse Hillary and went full on TDS batshit, and has never recovered.
The lawsuit thing was a lot more complicated than the spin Jello spewed that you repeated.

Jello got caught fucking over the rest of the band with regards to royalties they were owed (Jello claimed it was an accounting error caused by him hiring incompetent book keepers but the truth was that he was embezzling funds because his various lawsuits over the Frankenchrist/Geiger poster nearly bankrupted him and Jello decided to steal his bandmates money to spite them due to them refusing to pitch in funds for Jello's legal fees and telling him "he's on his own", due to how Jello overruled the band on including the poster).

When the embezzling got caught, Jello threw his accountants under the bus to his band claiming they bullied him into silence by saying their fuck up made Jello legally liable be ause of due diligence issues that Jello didn't do by blind trusting them. It's one of the reasons Jelko got with the Melvins; he needed cash to cover up the stolen money ASAP. But this pissed off Easter Bay Ray, who had been quasi blackballed from the biz due to Jello forever shit talking Ray to other labels for being a prima Donna.

In the end, Ray and the other band members told Jello that the only way to make things good given how he betrayed them (and still refused to own up to it) would be if they were given equal say over the DK catalog and would be allowed to authorize licensing songs for commercials. Jello said fuck no and the lawsuits ensued with Jello using his bully pulpit to spew his side of the story as "the truth", backed by the fact that he had successfully trashed Ray enough to paint Ray as the "greedy one" not Jello. Which only intensified when Jello lost the case AND ownership of the DK name and catalog since the fact that even under Jello's version of events, he willfully covered up the fraud for a lengthy period of time rather than own up to it and work out a restoration plan to make good on the fuck up as soon as he found out about it.

AGI is impossible, and even college freshmen in 2017 knew it. In introductory AI courses, you'd hear about Searle's Chinese Room thought experiment and Heideggerian explanations for why you can't program a true "base context" to make sense of any data points.

The AI people knew you couldn't program a human mind, and by implication knew that it isn't wholly material—they knew this because they tried and it was their job to know their real options.

Stubbornly and stupidly hanging onto materialism/physicalism was for the philosophy department, because they don't have to make things that work.
This is a retarded argument on the level of saying people can't fly because if God wanted them to he'd have given us wings. It's pure cope. Fact is there is literally nothing stopping someone from making an AI that in every aspect is a human. You would not be able to tell it wasn't a human, because it would be that good at everything it does. There is little functional difference between replicating the outcome of a human's actions and actually simulating the soul of our thought process. Just a sophisticated version of how AI art can be so good we can't tell the difference between it and human art. This isn't materialism at all, it's just reflecting the fact the vast majority of our thought processes can be mathematically defined.

At this rate, AGI is going to happen. Doesn't matter what form it is. And we are fucked every single way once it emerges.

Win, after win, after motherfuckin' win.

The Trump Train 2.0 is running FULL STEAM AHEAD.

Now the real test is gonna be, if he is gonna trim the fat in the major federal government bodies, such as the IRS.

Milei over here dismantled our local equivalent of the IRS (when no one thought that he would) and replaced it for a much smaller, leaner and more efficient government office.

As funny as it is to see Trump finally being the bull in the China shop there is just one nagging doubt: can every EO he has signed be put into motion? Or are there hurdles those EO's have to jump over to get into action?

Also fucking kino that those people suddenly care for gun laws. Weren't they the ones that screeched the most to unarm people?

Considering he has the supreme court and will most likely be throwing another bag of bones in there, he's got it covered.

What's the 'I told you so' and who is it aimed at? Trump is doing exactly what he said he would, at rapid pace. People who voted for him are mostly really happy and excited and no-one on the Dem side ever told people; 'If you vote for Trump, you're going to get exactly what you want and spend the first two days filled with hope and optimism.' That's just so fucking stupid.

Democrat voters doubling down and becoming hateful even more so is THE chef's kiss. Don't forget to share all this vile shit they're spewing to those people you know who voted for Trump for the first time and let them see exactly what sort of people almost held the reigns of the country.
If they keep at this, leftism may become just another weird historical heresy that people look back at and laugh over.
People gonna vote democrat again in 4years tho. You already see the overconfidence on the right and the rallying on the left

EO's might be overturned etc if they violate the constitution or have various techical issues. In general they smack pretty hard though

They can be challenged but until then they are in effect.
