I think y'all are being too critical. Her situation and physical condition are entirely attainable by someone who simply does not care to do the work to care for themselves with their diseases. It's the same as morbid obesity, it comes from a lack of care and letting shit get out of control. And then she eats shit that does nothing for her body that can already barely process anything so she doesn't gain weight because her body burns too quick and lacks the proper tools to use what she feeds herself. So she might as well be starving.

Then the mental issues exasperate the physical issues in a vicious cycle. You guys are too used to seeing munchies that seeing someone going through it can be jarring.
