But remember, if you have the wrong opinion and happen to post in the wrong subs, even taking part in a sub you post in, can often get you banned and warns, for "brigading". Big political subs rush in to enforce narratives with posts and votes, but it's fine as long as the opinion is correct.

Also seems like the comment thread is at worst split on it, most older accounts and long time sub users are against.. bringing up most of what goes on in the sport is reported through x. The mods just went ahead did it anyway. This sounds like power mods and maybe even admins flexing.

Notice the the complete difference between the question thread and the announcement thread. This is a sure sign of turf and shill activity. Most people voice against it and then exclusive support and ass patting once it's done. In the middle of the night.
