Cardona really had something good going upon winning the GCW title in such a rabid environment and I still don't get why they rushed taking it away from him and onto Moxley, when Jon would end up disappearing again for months on end. His injury shortly after killed his momentum and while I commend GCW for attempting something with the GM role, it didn't elevate anyone involved nor get the reactions he likely had hoped for.
i went to the first GCW shows when they were still at game changer world in howell. You can feel you were on the cusp of something special during that time, its hard to explain. Once danny and brett split up I feel everything went to shit booking wise. Brett started booking flavors of the month and whoever joey and nick gage wanted to work, more so joey now than nick.
