Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

According to Yoshi-P they are working on a few games. One of them is most likely a remaster of FF Tactics. Another game might explain what Ishikawa is doing.
Yeah, I meant like high end studio projects. A mobile game (or whatever) likely isn't as resource/attention/time-consuming as 16 and an XIV expansion would be.
It’s pretty good to be careful though. I’ve told people to “stop larping” when they’ve done their shitty little cringe roleplaying before, but even that made me think about it for awhile.

Yeah, unless it is causing an issue in a dungeon or other gameplay, there's no point. I just ignore those retards and get on with it.

Looked it up. Sounds incredibly useful.
I've been levelling the class up to 100 the last couple days. It kinda defines the class in an interesting way.

Casters in general want to optimise movement and positioning so they don't need to move too much and interrupt their cast times.

At later levels, you get instant-cast spells and ways to cast your spells at instant speed, but you have limited amounts of these tools.

So the class basically becomes about finding good positioning and trying to reduce movement as much as possible, spending those tools when you need to. Especially compared to a class like Red Mage which basically has free movement on every second spell cast.

The reward: big damage. Black Mage is the big dick damage caster (ignoring Pictomancer, but everyone agrees that Picto is an outlier and needs nerfing).

At level 90+ you can also just do Paradox Rotation. It deals around 5% less damage but is 100% instantcast.

Also prepare to have every AOE missle strike hyperfocus on you the moment you set your leylines down.

To change the subject a bit, I have a question for NA Kiwis.

Say a humble europoor wanted to play with friends in NA and made the terrible decision to make a new character to replay from ARR while they were at it. If ping doesn't seem to be an issue, are there particular Worlds/Data Centres to avoid? In Europe it's mostly Light or nothing if you have any interest in PF content. I know some centres have a worse rep than others but I'll be damned if I ever bothered to remember them.

So a friend of mine who's even more autistic than me about modding showed me a link to a japanese lodestone scraper. It has a record of almost every FC and LS/CWLS that a player has been in.
I have been pwned. You have probably also been pwned.

Aether: Raiding
Crystal: (E)RP - Avoid at all costs, bite the bullet and live on Dynamis if you have to
Primal: Not sure about this DC
Dynamis: Dynamis is still much lower population than Aether and Crystal.

What @Tari said, with the addendum that Primal has a bit of a PVP scene (even before ranked CC got lobbed there.)

For what it's worth, I don't think there's any bad DCs, just servers. Avoid Balmung, Faerie, and Seraph.

I'm not sure I understand what this is. It's just tracking what FCs people are in?

I don't know how things have evened out over the last few months since the last major patch went live, but before then, Primal went the way of Dynamis for a while there – just with faster DF queue times. I don't remember if I heard it on here earlier in the thread but I recall there being rumors that most of Primal's raiding scene jumped ship to Aether, so the only ones left really doing content on Primal were all the retards.

lol I really can’t help myself. I’m gonna get myself banned. The concern trolling was funny too.

There’s a 90% chance it’s a tranny.

Quite frankly I'd tell you all to shut the fuck up and just play the game because I don't care about troons and provocateurs being contentious niggers – I just want to get this Moogle Mog run done and over with.

Fair enough. Maybe I should turn off the chat because otherwise I get distracted by faggots.

It's "the normal one" in that it has a pretty even mix of all the usual ff14 autist types. Pretty good for a beginner DC before moving on to one of the more specialized ones.

Never do this. I've done this about 4 times now. Never do it. It is hell.
