that's why the first thing I do with every char is push it 80 with at least 6/6/6 talents and some trash artifacts for HP. plus it beats doing the fucking artifact grind for fucking months...

I've got everyone ascension 5, but nobody has weapons or talent upgrades. I'll get around to it eventually, I just want to prioritize the 5* characters I've pulled recently with intent to use.

There's a sword with 5 small columns somewhere on the central island. You have to find and follow 5 light glyphs through small underground zones so they appear on those columns. Those are bitch to find all if you aren't going for them intentionally.

Also by complete curiosity, I looked into the normies' take on adding more 5* to the standard banner. And the consensus is that "MHY could be sued because they are doing false advertizing because these characters are not true limited so all standard banner characters must be Natlan or else" or that "it's a bad idea because someone hasn't gotten a specific character yet!"

And it's absolute bullshit. Tighnari was the first limited Dendro character (not counting Traveler) and he got added to the Standard banner soon after his run ended and no lawsuit. If there had been a lawsuit it would have been a very big thing.

Dehya also got added there although you could technically argue nobody would care to sue because she was such a flop.

Before Genshin came along it was standard practice for Gacha to put characters in the general pool after their first banner. The idea would be the standard banner would be flooded with characters so you'd still have to wait for limited banners to have a chance of getting specific characters/weapons.

Well then I didn't expect the Chronicled Wish to run concurrently with everything else. I think I'm gonna Yolo for Xiao and maybe Childe and use my guarantee on Chlorinde.

Just a reminder that Chronicled Wish has it's own pity that is fully detached from limited banner and carries to the next chronicled wish (that should take at least a year for a inazuma one) and the "guarantee point" doesn't carry.

This technically means the chronicled wish guarantee doesnt carry and you should try to spend it if possible.

Other than Keqing/qiqi and the Lyue and baizhu weapon you can technically lose to something like a jade cutter.

But this one for 5.5 is the bigger hype though. Two out of five potential upgrades are guaranteed into player wanted sub stats with Elixir,

Godamn, feeling really happy i didnt spend my stuff, i was 90% going to make something for arlechino lol.

I wanted to fight the boss in the ocean tribe area, and not only does that fucker require nightsoul to do damage in between his stunned phases, but to put him into his stunned phase you need a goddamn transport mechanic to climb the rocks he makes. Goddammit, I don't have any Natlan characters outside of Kachina, and I don't have her usable yet. It's such a pain in the ass to deal with.

The boss is only "fair" because they give you a free kachina, i actually trained kachina for that boss cause i had to farm it for xilonen, who is perfect for it. At least it's not on abyss yet abyss cause it's one of the worst character checks in the game (at least papilla can be cheesed with burn and hyperbloom).

BTW about to try abyss with arlechino (i'm still not sure how her kit works), pray for my blood pressure and heart condition.

   Yes -> Rotate through your other characters (you have plenty of time), return to Arlecchino and charge attack, claim your free pyro infusion
3. Is your pyro infusion active?
   Yes -> lol, just click
   No -> Advance to next step
4. Is your burst ready?
   Yes -> Pop burst, return to step 1
   No -> Return to step 1

Did that already after accidentally coming across the 1st one. Also had to look up a guide for the enemy fights the adventure team guy getting visibly corroded by abyss shit shows up to help you with. Sucks what happens afterthat but not in a "oh this quest sucks way" kind of deal if it makes sense. Does suck that the guides all spoil the ending even if it is heavily foreshadowed via him talking about seeing his own face in his nightmares and shit.

It's not even a fucking lootbox system, it's a gacha system. It's similar in the way that it's an RNG mechanic but lootboxes are very very specific with how they operate and people changing from calling genshins stuff gacha to lootboxes after this lawsuit is so fucking fake and gay. I dont' play lootbox games, and I haven't really ever been too much of a gacha guy either but genshin is like the one game where I'm like "wow it really just lets me play without pulling some shit on me to make me spend money".

my raiden shogun's like 0 constellaton and when I just want to melt shit with elemental reactions it's always been like that one and some other character with something reactive with electro so every attack is 2 elements at once. Similar effect can be done with a lot of characters but the extra little electro slash thing is cool looking.

But her burst clears the bond of life and heals like hutao, should i bother with it if i'm already full? Do i use it at the start of the rotation so i get the particles to fuel next one? How much time do i need to wait for her skill to get full value with a charge atk? Does it go away if i don't charge attack.

She is normal attacker but more nuanced than the usual E+Q+mash 1. I feel stupid.

A few restarts and chamber 1 and 2 were literally done at exactly 7:01 left while 3 forced me to reset multiple times because i felt it was impossible to stun papilla in time. I had to perfectly rotate xilonen skill and fuel citlali burst to ensure her snowstorm would go. Sac frags helps too much with her uptime i rather use that than ttds. Citlali and xilonen are both on cinder city cause i'm lazy.

And pro tip: This abyss does a great job masking mavuika's main issue in abyss, which is ending the chamber on her burst and starting the next one empty. Since chamber 2 is two mimifloras and chamber 3 is papilla, it's okay to start with no mavuika burst because you need to break the shield first but i can see this being frustrating in other abysses.

I DONT KNOW MAN, i needed ice to freeze the wind cat and for some reason i thought she would be a good pick, let her be the bragging right unit this abyss.

tl;dr: The abyss blessing definitely carried me. Suani cat having 70% hydro res and requiring melt/shatter really fucks my usual Neuvi/furina carry and hyperbloom crutches. If you dont have arlechino and a quick natlan comp it's going to be cancer.

Burst converts BoL into HP to heal you, you only ever need to burst if HP is low, infusion has ended and skill is still on cooldown, or because you have an instant to use it and know you'll get it back before she needs it again.

She is very energy efficient, if you burst, skill, and use the entire infusion, you will likely be 90% of the way to another burst. That last 10% you can cover by just on-fielding any other pyro for a quick hit before going back to her.

I do not know. It says somewhere, but it doesn't matter. When enemies are hit with the skill, they will have a red and black X covering them. You get full value once that X turns into a flower and starts glowing.

Yes, but that's after ~30-45 seconds. It lasts a long time, long enough for you to onfield skill and burst 3 other characters before returning to her, at least assuming those bursts are things like Raiden's that change her state.

You can learn her better and really pump her numbers, but her kit is so generous that even piloting it poorly she is one of the most damaging pyro's in game.

I think it's five seconds untill the marks upgrade. Two upgraded or three not upgraded marks give you the maximum bond of life possible for one skill use.

Reverse 1999 does this. As of now for the global server (there's a chink one that's 2 - 3 patches ahead), only three characters are limited. The rest get added to the standard banner once theirs ended. They also tend to run rerun banners frequently. Plus, you don't draw weapons. They're available in the game via events or from the shop with a special currency you farm ingame.

In HSR gacha salt, I still don't have Herta after I lost count pulls...
