I was attempted to account for activity levels (honestly, mine isn't that high on a daily basis, I intend to change that soon, I'm a few days delayed on a goal due to exigent circumstances), but then I remembered that the 600 lb life people can legit average over 10K a day. I don't know if there's "diminishing returns" after a certain calorie level or what, but the 10K a day should legit be putting on 2 lbs a day in perpetuity, and that clearly isn't the case because they plateau at a certain point. They might also have periods of 2K days for a while, I dunno. When I was doing 5K, I was probably doing 50% extra portions on my base diet PLUS the copious junk food. Right now, my only junk food is approximately 1.5 bags of potato chips per week at approximately 2000 weekly calories or under 300 junk food calories per day (I may get a sugar craving once or twice a month, but it isn't standard fare). I was at about 3000 base calories PLUS 2K in DAILY junk calories in my bad month. I would be a legit death fat right now if I had kept it up. I also have to wonder where he is getting his protein and his vitamins with such a potato chip heavy diet. I know he has a fondness for fast food burgers, so that must be his protein source. AT his weight, he must be consuming a fair amount of protein to even maintain base/minimal mobility. Vitamins, I am guess are just fucked for him.
