Mega Rad Gun Thread

At least in the James Revees video the salesman implied that the .32 acp was intended to be a .22 lr substitute, which makes more sense.
I guess it's far better than 22lr in terms of reliability, but it's way way more expensive. I do wish I could get my wife a full auto Vz61 for home defense I think it would be a perfect size for her. Still need to try a P90 with her. I have a suspicion she'd love it. She likes the concept of low recoil and massive amounts of rounds down range

Make sure to buy the first gen and never break off the plastic nofun tab lmao.
I've seen opinions flip flop over the years, if only because they're one of the few that bother with FALs anymore.
They started cost cutting and all the issues that brings. The inch patterned FALs suck imho since their tooling was all metric.

PSA unveiled their concept voting for the year
Everyone is focused on the .50, but i think the biggest thing here is the 10/22 clone. The 10/22 is already really cheap, and PSA is undoubtably going to make them cheaper than Ruger does. We could potentially see a future where the average joe can get a pretty decent rifle all things considered for somewhere around 100-150 dollars. Game changer.

You can get an actual Ruger for $150 easily brand new. Send the trigger pack to brimstone for $45 and you got a better than BX trigger. More options is neat but they'd have to make it better than the real thing to be a serious contender.

5.7 is actually about the same price on ammoseek as .32acp. .32 is a dying cartridge sadly, 5.7 is plummeting slowly in price. It's a 4 cent difference per round at the moment. I'm waiting for the day Beretta makes a 5.7
Hmmm the .32 and .380 Beretta 80s are supposedly identical except for the barrel and magazine..... So you might just get one the swap barrels and mags as needed.

I cannot imagine a better BX.... It's already something like 2.5 lbs single action

Shipping alone on that is $40 so we're already at $230, then we add tax (6-8%) & transfer ($25) and we end up at $270.30.
My FFL charges me $10

Y'all need to find some good FFLs lol

Oh my God

I've never once in my life seen one of these mythical sub $200 10/22 Rugers.
Just get a time machine faggot.
I can show you boat loads for 129 with box of ammo ....... In 2003
😭.

Yeah once they are in hands it'll be over 200 sadly. I can't wait to build one for my wife outta parts one day and another for me as a backpack gat.

You'll get 2.5 for less $ at least. They send you a record of their recorded pull weights they got with your trigger job. I forget mine but it's at least 2.5 and was like $45. May have been 2.1 or something. It's been so long. Good alternative to a BX if you don't mind shipping your pack off to save a few bucks. The BXs have come down in price since I last looked though

Also I have seen $150 10/22s recently. Just check gun.deals and reddit honestly.

i just don't see these being worth the price. the helical mags are asking for trouble.
3500 is pretty steep in my opinion, I will need to see the performance of it before I would even consider buying it. Stuff and things "stizon" is much more affordable with a nak9 but even they have had issues. Mostly regarding feeding where the bullets get caught on the ramp, shortening their mag catch can fix it but it can still happen. Very annoying issue because most of the time the bullet wont come out and you have to take the mag out and wind it so you can insert it without the bolt being open or iraqi reload it. Which with the mags ergonomics either option is unpleasant really. If I were to pay $3500 it better work way better than the $900 option.
