The threads we have now are functional and don't encourage the forum to become a playground for sickos.

Eh, fair enough. It is a fascinating topic (obviously pedo or otherwise predatory circles have always been on the Internet, but to my knowledge they've never really reached this amount of scope and visibility), but it's probably worth discussion of it to be more or less "hidden" under a few layers of the forums.
