General Chat's limited post duration and IRC functionality exhibit embarrassing behavior, TMI-posting, power-leveling, lulzy behavior, intra-communal inane sperging, parasocial relationships, homosexuality, GOTIS, IBS, degeneracy, and KF-themed socialization.

A division exists between users of the website's forum and those who comment on profiles, use DM chains, and post in general chat as a form of socialization. This division could normalize embarrassing and subversive behavior amongst certain users to the site's detriment, as seen within DM chains and cross-profile spergings.
