i would slightly disagree: harris's dissertation was signed off on by (some) serious philosophers. he went through the program and produced a dissertation that makes and analyzes arguments, clarifies concepts, and cites sources. one could imagine engaging with that document seriously being something almost worth doing.

the bigger problem is that nick is mentally incapable of giving it a serious treatment because he is too stupid to understand what it says.
