I just noticed on page 37 that he brought lock picks to the shooting, still in the original packaging and obviously unused. He thought that without any practice and under intense stress, he could instantly pick beefy school locks to continue his rampage. Those locks would take a professional locksmith at least a few minutes to open. Never mind the fact that the doors are almost certainly fitted with deadbolts on the inside.

Just an aside, I used to pick locks as a little hobby (was not very good at it) so I now have this little tendency to look at keys and locks.
If schooldoor locks are anything like I remember with those picks and with zero level of training those locks would never open in a million years. Not even to mention that the wrench would probably break before you even got close to opening a big deadbolt, there’s a reason locksmithing is a legit trade it requires special equipment and training.
Some kid’s locker with a cheap Master Lock, easy peasy just rake it. An actual standard issue heavy door lock, under stress, no practice, never gonna happen.

I agree, however there’s one thing I have learned in my deep dives into predator rings. There’s usually at least a few guys who are connected to a few other guys connected to a few other guys in various rings like these. Especially on the Internet when you can be in five hundred different Discord servers, there’s quite a bit of threads connecting people even if your regular member isn’t aware of said connection.
Think back to the Goonclown, in my mind the first major person most saw in these breeds of grooming server. They had a lot of connections, and those connections had connections.
That’s why I saw it’s a massive disorganized web, it’s not like a cabal it spreads like a fungus with spores.

These groups culturally dominate the new sharty. The entire edgetard and raid-focused scene has creeped its way up into its administration, with Froot, the current admin, being very fond of images of dying children and generally not having any concern for the well-being of his site's users while knowing they're underage. The current administration only ever stopped the old raid culture because it became a personal problem for hosting. Discorders and "cunnyborean right wing twitter" users have supplanted the old culture and basically controls the site from the bottom-up.

Furthermore, Most admins have done a poor job of trying to push up the age of the user-base to at least 18, so the amount of impressionable teens getting involved in discord gayops or hosting discord gayops like the ones that lead to this tragedy are more common.

As of writing, the rule for the site is as follows:
The minimum age to browse this site is 16, because that's the average age of a /qa/ poster. However, it is likely that underage posters will get through nonetheless. It is impossible to definitively tell whether or not a poster is underage. Therefore, users cannot be banned just under the suspicion of being underage, unless they openly admit to being under 16.

This rule is rather new still, only being enacted at the earliest archived, Janurary 30th 2024.

I don't think the admins realistically can have a way of enforcing something like age ranges perfectly since basically every parent gives their child unsupervised access to all human information and the ability to contact anyone, anywhere, and at any time due having hatred for their children's well-being. However, that does not mean that the administration shouldn't try to do so.

Soyjak.party's administration literally just does not care about this issue or the discord servers that predate on their site. The administration itself is a symptom of this problem since most are discord-using attention whores as well, with Kuz being the originator of this trend.

While not every sharty user is of these terror organizations, the culture it inhabits is downstream, adjacent, and is in symbiosis with them. The 2025 sharty is colored in the same way that these groups are, hence why I say these terror groups are more vultures hanging around the sharty's corpse than it in itself, using their memes and contributing their own memes to be able to suck people in.

A-logging all soyposters is not accurate, pretending every sharty user is an innocent saint is also not accurate. The accurate thing to say is that the site has a massive problem with these groups that it has never been able to deal and currently takes no action to deal with it either.

It's not like soyjak.party is particularly unique in its position as the host here. If it wouldn't be soyjak.party being the vessel of these problems, it'd be iFunny or some fucked up Discord clique or some group on X - The Everything App. No matter where these groomers congregate, they will do the same things: exchange retarded ideas, pull vulnerable people in with memes, "trolling", and other iconography, abuse anyone they can get their hands on, and then glorify their actions through painting their actions in a way palatable to right-wing twitter shitposters.

The problem at its core lies in these people existing, having influence, and not necessarily in the platforms they exist on. Shutting this one site down isn't going to solve the problem, just move it since the people doing the most damage are parasites on any culture they come into contact with. It's more accurate to say that they're a virus that infects than a single culture in themselves you can just shut down by turning off their site. They keep coming back and anything they're allowed to touch they'll get involved in.

The single, only, actual solution to this is for their crimes to be punished and for these people to be physically removed from society permanently. Once the organizers and groomers are gone, people will not be pulled into this nonsense as the originator of the problem is gone.

Furthermore, in the short term, ensuring that people are aware of these tactics, aware of the communities they target, intervene when they see them, and people are of good mental health to resist these groups is important to slow down their spread and influence. This won't cure the problem, but it will help a lot with good people knowing their is a problem and intervening when it is possible. If your average school counselor, teacher, friend, or parent knew about these groups, maybe a tragedy like this could have been prevented through intervention.

Any other solution is just ego-satisfying ritual. Crushing soyjak.party because it is disgusting will only take down a single grooming vector and push these people to target elsewhere. This isn't to say that soyjak.party doesn't need a great purge, but it is to say that targeting it alone won't help the problem at its core. There are always more vulnerable people to seek and always more platforms to communicate on. The issue in its totality lies in the actions of people and the informed nature of people.

Why are you taking anything these known gayoppers say in a quasi-public channel at face-value? I was able to get verified in the Gnarpy server later too, shockingly easily at that. Wickerkid and Klasky stated themselves the "verified" channel was just a ruse to rile up "spies" and that actual discussion took place in another chat with additional layers of verification. My nigger, they are clearly getting off to the attention, if they were "scared" like liberoflove claimed he was they wouldn't immediately try to rebuild their infrastructure on Discord and instead lay low for a while to avoid the federal radar.

I am in no way denying his connection with these groups, but it is a pathetic cope to claim that the shooter's involvement with them completely cancels out his, again, overwhelming infatuation with the sharty. As LarpBait stated above, these groups are literal hellspawn of soyfaggot.cucky itself anyway.
