Felinids should be a bait race that, when picked by user, perma-bans you after the shift ends and leaks your CID. Felinids should also get debuffs and be valid to kill like a cluwne. Otherwise the only acceptable nonhuman race is ligger (green skin, yellow eyes, no customization) and perhaps plasmeme. But this isn't a thread for this kind of discussion so I'll leave it at that.

I was the lead UI designer on Unity Station and even got money for my work. The New Hud was designed and made by me. It was very fun. But I was eventually banned. I joined another SS13 pixel art themed discord. I asked "a stupid question" and was immediately banned. I complained about the insane mods on the Unity station wiki, and got banned there. probably because i insulted a tranny mods friend or some shit. I got allowed me back but in by the actual server owner himself because I was one of the few people actually doing work and not making gay tumblr fan art of the game. He told me I had to change my name and pfp and deny being who i am so he wouldnt get complaints. I think i got banned again because i posted like a ted Kaczynski meme or something. yeah so many insane trannies. all they do is make pixel art of various guns. I kid you not i made close to 1000 sprites for them and everyone else was just making gun sprites. as if a top down rpg would have a difference between two pistols. im not kidding when they were literally going down the wiki list for firearms.

ok this is years ago but Ill tell you what I remember. I designed the radial menu to be less intrusive. I was inspired by the one they had in warframe at the time, where you could move your mouse in a circle around the menu clockwise or counterclockwise and it would scroll through the items. this would be useful for when someone drops 99 different items on one square and the list goes off the screen. When they implemented it I was disappointed to find that they added an ugly NESTED radial menu. you click an item, and a second wheel comes up that says pick up, drop, throw, etc... it was SO UGLY and intrusive. In the design stuff i set up for subordinates I told them for the sake of simplicity we need all key shortcuts with multiple keys should be either CTRL, ALT or SHIFT. mostly related to picking things up, dropping things, and throwing things. I got pushback because "coding is hard" I dont know anything about a cross menu must have been some bullshit they did after I was there. These aderoll addicted trannys will redesign 1 thing 1000 times rather than making 1000 placeholders for different things they can come back to later. thats the main thing I noticed is the total lack of priority.

There was an individual named Cross. The same one that shows up in Era 2 of my post about PJB. He was credited with hiring an outside contractor to implement the radial menu, who I assume is you. He was probably the most controversial Unitystation staff, also associated I think with their $400 MS paint album art for an album that never released.

I designed the radial menu to be less intrusive.

Did it ever occur to you that most radial menus: (1) have fixed positions of static content, because their benefit is supposed to be muscle memory and (2) have icons that aren't largely identical looking literally 8x8 sprites that aren't designed to be differentiated without text?

I think lizards were fine since reptile men are a very classic sci-fi trope and liggers have been in the game since the 2000s. The thing with tg is they have too many races that are purely for retards to play dress up and don’t offer any gameplay or roleplay changes. (Cat, moth, electric they/them guys)

For a brief time the cat tranny race was allergic to chocolate. This was actually pretty fun as it gave felinid haters a way to interact with all the Tranny McCatstatics online. People use to exclusively cook chocolate-containing food to racially segregate the kitchen. I used to throw cookies at cat trannies and they’d get butthurt even though nothing would happen unless they’d consciously eat them.

Tg’s tranny codermins then removed it saying that the feature was added and only used by “Reddit outsiders”. (Hilarious considering the race was a later tg addition)

Mind you over the years there were several community votes to remove felinids. Every time they’d pass the admins would either ignore it or bring them back in a few months. There was even an incident circa 2017 when an admin griefed several rounds to “protest” the removal of felinids at the time.

Aliens are pretty cool you just gotta avoid making them furry bait and give them differing mechanics. Cat people, Vulpkanins, moths, and some of the other ones I'm forgetting are gay because they just exist for furries and have no mechanical differences.

Diona need light to heal and are pretty cool. Vox while becoming increasingly furfag bait with their mechanics being removed are kinda cool because they breathe plasma instead of 02 and security constantly accidentally Floyd's them because of this. IPCs are cool because they can ignore some of the more painful parts of medical with the trade off being weak limbs and weakness to emps. Lizard people are black people. There also used to be some race that lived off of radiation, they were pretty cool I forget what the rest of their mechanics are. Plasmamen are like vox but they get Floyded by medical instead.

I would love to see more races with unique mechanics instead of just furry bait garbage.
