So I dropped Wistoria like a ton of bricks, the only thing it had going for it was the fight scenes anyway. I made the mistake of tolerating the fag who has a crush on the MC, I figured it'd just be a background element, but the yaoi shit is fairly prominent in the love triangle. Mashle is better :smug:

It's awesome, even Kuwabara gets to shine there. It's either that or the Genkai tournament that I like most, YYH has the best tournaments. It might do them even better than DB.

I watched the anime first and figured there wasn't a point in reading the manga, but it's got its own good points. Not just pacing but more consistent quality in the art.

Yeah kuwabara was one of my favorites because he was way out of his depth but showed indomitable human spirit. Yyh honestly did tournaments better than most shonen it's just a shame how Togashi's health was fucked so the ending got affected though it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

not to be a sperg but does 9anime work for anyone else or am I just unlucky? No matter what I do, the subtitles will not work. It used to work, now it doesn't. I cleared the cache, I tried a different browser (Firefox to Brave), I tried getting rid of adblock. Tried everything.

Make sure you get the uncensored, fan translation. They call General Blue a faggot openly like in the Japanese one and I’m pretty sure Pilafs henchwoman calls Bulma a trollop.

Yup, been reading that exact one. Lovin every minute of reading it.

Honestly though I would be lying and a nigger if I said an unironic "sanitised" translation for the manga was created that straight up Ocean Dubbed the whole thing would not be hilarious in its own right, with everyone who died being transported to anudda dimension, every explosion followed by "GEE I SURE AM GLAD THEY EVACUATED THAT AREA" one liners, and every lost limb/head resulted in the dismembered character declaring how it will just grow back the next day to the point of absurdity.

In the recent round of Discotek announcements, I see that they're wasting time and money marketing more crappy American (and in one case French) tie-ins and toymerical cartoons that nobody likes or watches, instead of getting more animation, Japanese or otherwise, out there.

They announced releases of that crappy American Street Fighter cartoon awith a guest commentary featuring the likes of Matt McMuscles and Egoraptor...yech. As well as garbage like Stone Protectors.

"“I really really REALLY want to own the American Darkstalkers cartoon and Highlander The Animated series on Blu-ray”, nobody says this, it's a waste of plastic. This effluvium is stuff that appeals to no one.

This past round of Discotek was disappointing, though it's neat we got Janperson. They must be having having financial trouble since they're licensing hentai now. I don't care about them licensing toyetic Western animation; those shows need caretakers too. It would be nice to get watchable versions of Stargate Infinity and Bionic Six, as well as Tansor 5 subs and non-ARR Trider G7, but alas.
 
Regarding Konosuba's watch order, after legend of crimson you move onto season 3 right? Or was there something else I'm missing?

When a millennial endlessly reminisces to the point that they have to dig up the mediocre/forgotten/straight-up shit from their childhoods in a vain attempt at retaining their youth it somehow feels more archaic, and is more embarrassing, than when a bonafide boomer does it. If I ever start to prattle on about old shovelware and dime-a-dozen cartoons from my childhood like these geriatrics do then please put a bullet in my head and relieve me of the indignity of having become a washed up oldfag.

Anyways, finally got around to watching Frieren and Dungeon Meshi and are enjoying both so far.
