Hey all,

I don’t really lurk here besides maybe once a month or so searching for mentions of IncogNET. This is my only account.

Just wanted to touch base on this thread since I’ve seen quite a few mentions and point out that we do not host “skibidifarms.st”, we are only the domain registrar as you’ve seen from the public whois data, or at least, we’ve found no evidence of them using our infrastructure for that particular website.

If you see something illegal hosted on our network, please report it through correct channels. During all this time we have only received 2 reports that I can find, one of which was posted here and subsequently griefed by someone using the access link. Please also understand that reports related to content should be accompanied by substantial proof. Additionally, if a site is using Cloudflare please report it to Cloudflare as they will report the issue to the ISP actually hosting the content, which provides additional substance to take action on. Cloudflare provides the ISP with a simple curl command to confirm that the site is hosted on a particular IP.

Our mission is to protect freedom of speech and end-user privacy. We’re not a bulletproof host. We certainly do not wish to be.

EDIT: Their skibidi site was with a different provider, not IncogNET. Just to make that clear.

EDIT 2: We've also had a rough draft of some sensible TOS/AUP updates that we've been working on for some months. It's not in effect yet, as we're hashing out some updates that aren't related to proposed content specific clarifications. I believe it'll make our stance more clear and still allow us to focus on our mission of US protected speech and end-user privacy.

It's unusual that FranTech hosting is willing to take a site down. My guess is that the police told them to do take down skibidifarms, or there was CSAM publicly viewable on the site.

I do not believe this is true, ongoing investigations in most cases come with a gag order that prohibits Google from disclosing an user is being investigated.

You also give feds too much credit for being so fast with their actions, the shooting was just a few days ago. Even if it was the case, hinting one of the suspects to them investigating wouldn't be beneficial to the case.

I may be wrong, but this timing just seems too good. I believe he is doing this for attention,

I was in the same boat as you in that regards, with being genuinely surprised with how quickly things are moving... but it seems that most three letter agencies are on the same page now, FBI, DHS (Which was the point of no return) and now the ADL, and boy howdy, with ADL being on the up and up, things go at light speed.
