Kingdom Come Deliverance - Or how I stopped worrying about SJW and love Bohemia | Now with betrayal and a lot more niggers. "Historically accurate." BlackRock ruined the series.

So, ya guys busy complaining about all this stuff, did the devs bother least fix some of the annoying mechanics or did they double down on em? Also, what chances of thid game comin out just as buggy and badly optimized as KD did?
We are not complaining, we are protesting and we will use our wallets as our speech. There is a difference.

They improved the gameplay though according to sources

The shit he spews is getting weirder and weirder. Dude probably realized during the development of the game that he himself is a raging faggot and since these perverts can never create anything that's not about their degeneracy he chose to make Henry a faggot too.

He wouldn't defend his decision in such a weird way if it wasn't personal. Vavra is a fag.
Hes starting to give me Neil Gaiman vibes and I would be surprised if eventually has some sick fetish stuff leaked

The shitty thing is it all comes down to the fact that yes, there were fags in the medieval time. THEREFORE THEY NEED TO BE REPRESENTED ALWAYS AND AT ALL TIMES! Yes, there was a pet nigger or two. (Gustav Badin, for example. Yeah yeah, wikipedia, look the name up elsewhere if you're gonna be anal about it.) But rather than say "Yeah, there were black people in Europe in the royal courts, essentially kept as pets", it turns into "AND THEREFORE, SOMEHOW, diversity everywhere and at all times." (Sure, maybe the nigger doesn't have a prevalent role in KCD2, but the issue is that he's in it to begin with. As many people have pointed out, it starts with inviting the little nigger to dinner, and next thing you have to accept him fucking your wife with his mates while you watch, you racist pig.)

Writing and thinking about all that makes me realise that I was born in the wrong year. I wish I'd died in the trenches.
Why the fuck are you posting an 18th Century Black man being in Europe, as if this is supposed to prove that someone from Mali can be in Europe in the actual Middle Ages? Mali was so damn isolated to even its own neighbors and the only written sources we have described it as a mad max scenario including literal cannibal tribes. It wasn't a place that could produce a man like Musa of Mali's dialog suggests.

You mean the fact they are using the same cope that preorders are amazing? He doesn't understand that preorders don't tell you much about long term success. Shit is shit and refunds are very real now.
Oh, sure, must be amazing, that's why the game is being delayed all the time, to collect more pre-orders, this was the plan all along you see. Dishonest retards. I hope it gets delayed till 2030.

The biggest complaint I have about Musa is him being both Malian AND a scholar. Besides getting into the sassiness.

There were transsaharan trade routes, there were "blackamoors" that wandered around a bit as circus freakshow types and curiosities. Very rare, would be annoying as hell to have a bunch of them around, but it's not really unrealistic to have one OR not have one in the setting. Put this way, I find it genuinely more unrealistic to have half the modern-day population of Montana be Black in Far Cry 5 than I do to have one random African in Bohemia.

But I don't think it works well with him being a 5000 IQ Yakub. As some others noted, Mali was kind of a shitty stone age backwater. It happened to sit on a pile of all the gold in the world and it's interesting in the same way that the Neolithic American Indian civilizations I like are, that when (old) media portrayed it as always being savages ooga boogaing with spears the reality that there were organized states is interesting. But it sure as fuck wasn't more advanced than anything anywhere in the civilized world.

If they wanted to go the Enlightened Brown Man direction, they should have had the token be Iraqi or something. And then, if they really wanted to be based (obviously Vavra doesn't, he's sold out), they could have had him be Assyrian Christian. But what makes Musa so aggravating to people, I think, is that they're trying to push two things (the Golden Age of Islamic science meme and the big impressive African civilization meme) in a way that isn't accurate to either. Could have had him be Abysinnian, some shit about Prester John. Could have had him been a regular Berber, there are North African populations on the "North Africa" side of the Sahara that are Black. So this is badly done, because there could have been one or two characters that would be less out of place (the Enlightened Token and the Big Buck) than combining them in a way that doesn't fit.

At the end of the day it makes very little difference in my own position because I don't get a rage boner going on when I see a minority. I didn't play Kingdom Come: Deliverance because it was a hwyte vtopia. I'm more interested in if and how they're going to represent Jews (almost certainly as 100% victims), if this is supposed to be some big cosmopolitan city now.

When it comes to the king being a crusader, I don't see what difference that makes. Maybe Spain was different circumstances entirely, but using them as an example, even Spanish legendary heroes like El Cid frequently did work for the "wrong" side. That's just Spain, may have been different there due to more mixing, but I kind of doubt that the Crusades meant the whole world was a shoot-all-ragheads-on-sight deal.

Could have had him be Abysinnian, some shit about Prester John.
A pseudo-historical Prester John character would have at least been thematically true to the game. It wouldn't have felt out of place like this Yakub BS, and all I've seen from its defenders is pure cope about how its not impossible so its A-ok.

God I can only imagine the Vavra-designed kvetching that will go on in the Jewish ghetto of Praha

I don't LIKE IT but I think the reaction borders on, as i put it, hysterical faggotry. THE WEST HAS FALLEN KINGDOM COME IS DOOMED. I haven't seen any evidence that the game's going to have random minority NPCs all over the place, or weird preachy segments with modern values (as I understand, Pentiment had something like that, RDR2 is chockfull of it). In terms of the technical aspects it looks like an expanded on version of what we got, now with things like handgonne and crossbows (although I'd trade both for the ability to actually fight from horseback; have they even bothered with that? Can I actually joust in my damn knight game?)

The last time I remember a retarded blowup like this was over in the GTA 6 thread with the argument about whether or not Black people exist in Miami and if they should be in our big chungus wholesome murder-and-mayhem simulator. Also arguments about beaner woman protagonist.

I haven't seen any evidence that there is a DEI-infused game that the above poster won't rush to defend with a variant on "it's not that bad" post.

Points for consistency, I suppose.
I don't remember there being that many. But if you want some:
- I've always bitched about woke shit in RDR2. I didn't mind it as much when I played it, but it put a foul taste in my mouth that's grown with time. Put this way, I've never REPLAYED that game and my disdain for the
VERDICT: WOKE AND ANNOYING
- When I replayed Mafia III I realized that it was a million times worse than I remembered. I remembered it being kind of based compared to RDR2, but in retrospect I think a lot of the little details flew past me the first time because it hit at the start of the clown world, not later on. I couldn't bring myself to finish it.
VERDICT: WOKE AND ANNOYING
- I don't remember if I've ever talked about Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry, but it's kind of shitty in general (both as a game and in that it's so overdone that it takes any oomph out of its subject matter).
VERDICT: NOT EXACTLY WOKE BUT A SHITTY GAME
- I wasn't inherently opposed to Yasuke in Assassin's Creed: Shadow and think he could have been done fine. Them being retarded about how they handled this controversy put a bad taste in their customer's mouth, but I don't really give a fuck about that. However, people say they've been so sloppy (in addition to boring gameplay) with details that it just loses a lot of what made old AC games great. With a small map (not all of Japan in miniature like Origins did with Egypt) I don't even know why I should want to play it instead of Ghost of Tsushima (which was bland but extremely well-produced).
VERDICT: LOOKS SHITTY, PROBABLY WON'T BUY
- AC Odyssey has hoplites that don't fight with shields, warrior women Spartans, Blacks everywhere, lots of diverse faggotry and it's a huge chunk of why I never played it (besides not being able to get into Nu AC that they launched with Origins; Unity was the last one I played that I really genuinely enjoyed, with Syndicate and Origins both putting me to sleep).
VERDICT: SO WOKE I DIDN'T EVEN TRY IT
- AC Valhalla looked way more appealing just for its sea roving. The heckin wholesome pagans vs the eeevil Christians really puts me off. I understand it to have some weird forced diversity and fag shit. Mostly just heard it was boring as hell. Since I play a bit of Mount and Blade: Viking Conquest now, I don't know as there's even a point, Mount and Blade is old and ugly as hell and not an open world in that sense, but it's a genuine simulation of the time period.
VERDICT: KIND OF WOKE, DIDN'T TRY IT BUT DUE MORE TO BEING BAD?
- Battlefield 1 was really gay in how it did diversity. One of those cases of "technically accurate, but blown way out of proportion." I didn't mind Sikh British and Black French as much, but Black Germans bothered me a lot more (they were only in the colonies, to my knowledge) and I hate hate hated the Women's Battalion of Death for the Russians. They could have done a couple of Tanganyika maps with Lettow-Vorbeck's army instead. I didn't mind them putting a Harlem Hellfighter on the cover and using them for the opening mission, but I didn't like it having whole classes be minorities, meant they were everywhere. The game itself was amazing.
VERDICT: FORCED DIVERSITY BUT GOOD
- Battlefield 5 lost me completely (never bought it, never played it) because they went so overboard with the Cyborg Celtic Warrior Woman shit that I wasn't going to indulge it at all.
VERDICT: SO WOKE I DIDN'T EVEN TRY IT
- Far Cry 5 was weird in that it wasn't woke woke but instead this sort of gay conservative "based minorities" kind of woke? It was really weird where the fight was between a highly multiracial Y'all Qaeda with any specific identifying ideals or symbolism stripped out (Christian themed on sight, yet nothing actually explicitly Christian) versus your merry band of bartenders, Black preachers, Black woman veterans (groan), White redneck pilot veterans (based) and other stuff. It basically sold itself as a Red America power fantasy where you fight a villain out of a typical Blue America power fantasy. It was just odd and it had no point, but it wasn't malicious in any way.
VERDICT: CRINGEY

In summary: suck my dick. But if you want to bring up any specific game, I'm happy to answer questions on it.

You all won't care, but there is a very annoying groupthink trend on here that you can't just disagree or have different tastes about something.

I've never had such mixed feelings about a game. Pretty fun, had based Western Americana aesthetics but was so blatantly, disgustingly, insultingly subversive that I honestly can't recommend it and will probably never give Rockstar money again
Oh yeah. It managed to be incredibly engaging with its worldbuilding, realistic dialogue, just the way that you could bum around camp and talk and eat a beefsteak made it feel absolutely engrossing. And it made me feel absolutely greasy afterwards. I both love and hate it (and haven't touched it since).

As you might expect, the way it depicted the South especially pissed me off (as it did with Mafia III).
