As somebody else noted, Ya Boi Zack started off with supporters who had a lot good will towards him, he had been handed a golden ticket and decided to squander it instead. Now he's stewing in impotent rage, lashing out any comics creator in the whole indie-sphere who is even slightly more successful than him - not that that's hard to achieve - and screeching to an increasingly smaller audience.

I think that's the most upsetting thing about Meyer is that some of his comic ideas are GOOD, he's just too darn lazy to do anything with these concepts. JawBreakers as a concept is cool, but he didn't DO anything with it. Indie publishing isn't a difficult thing to do where gaining an audience is concerned i don't think. Mostly bcus the audience you cultivate will likely buy whatever you put out, the people are lenient (again look at how long the tolerated the late books), AND they're usually HUGE supporters, as in they'll gladly shill the books as they feel more personal i suppose. its kinda sad tbh
Absolutely agree. Most if not all creators who crowdfunded and released their books enjoyed some level of success. They also prove that it's possible to do, which is probably why the lazy ones who just sit on their ideas while spending all their time on social media hate them so much.
