It mostly replaces jeets/low IQ programmers. It can’t replace anyone competent, especially when it comes to bulk code generation. It is a massive timesaver though, both via LLM-backed autocomplete and making simple scripts/snippets than can be “glued in”. I haven’t played with the large context windows options though, they may be much better at making consistently usable code.
