What would the Europeans fuck them with? They have like two dozen functional tanks and 3 airworthy fighter jets on the entire continent. They gonna throw kebab trucks at us or something?
If push REALLY came to shove:

I know the UK and France have a literal handful of Boomer subs. As in, like a half dozen, each. France has the only aircraft carrier (Charles de Gaulle ) outside the US navy that's both nuclear and is equipped with a catapult launch system. That's about it in terms of military power that could actually even begin to threaten us even if every single ship in the Navy was docked in in Hawaii and their crews shore leave at the same time.

edit: the frogs tore down all their ICBM silos. What the actual fuck.

I can think of a few plausible reasons: Bro didn't get a bid, got kicked out of a party or got in a fight with some of the guys or something and wanted revenge. She delivers the frats head on a plate to him and thinks he will marry her.

Bitch is delusional.
More like the guy liked damaged women ala Neil Patrick Harris in Girl Gone and decided to pretend to be a rape victim to make him hit for her

Trump is the Hitler type and he's dragging you into a war,
He didn’t in his first term. The impression I get is he’s a businessman. He wants a deal and the best deal is both sides in a war to shut up, stop killing each other and get back to making money. He didn’t start any wars before. He does seem very well aware that there is nothing on the planet to go up against either the petrodollar end of the stick or the actual sharp end.
Nobody likes you. Nobody gives the slightest shit about America in Europe
This is completely untrue. People have varying opinions on trump, just like Americans do. The average Brit is fairly tolerant, to a point. The people I speak to are completely fed up with the current mass immigration, stabbing of small girls, the hatred our government has for us and the lowering QoL. Do they love trump? Some do, some dont. But what I am seeing is people giving the man a chance, and being VERY pleased at a bit of straight talk, and the EOs that are being signed.

When America sneezes, Europe catches a cold. It’s naive to think nobody cares, and even more naive to think America has no influence here.

It’s also naive IMO to think Europe or other powers has no leverage or anbility either. Nothing can go up against American military power, BUT that is not how wars are done these days is it? If America had wanted to win in Afghanistan they could - by glassing the place. You don’t do that, and be of that hampering yourself it opens up other ways of fighting. The Marxist tranny shit? This is a mode of warfare and it’s been very corrosive and successful in infiltrating the entire power structure top to bottom. Traitors within are worse than enemies without.
This has manifested in Europe by us being told to, and obeying, orders from ‘someone’ to do stuff like close nuclear plants and reduce military ability. The green lobby is not saving the planet, they’re destroying our industrial and military capabilities.

If trump can clean house, root out some of this commie shit and get Europe and America back in a MUTUALLY beneficial relationship based on trade and not screwing us over, that will be very good indeed

According to Metatron, the Roman salute was never a thing, and while the Nazi salute did pre-exist Fascist Italy and Nazi Germany, it didn't go as far back as Ancient Rome. I'm curious now where it really comes from.
Oh, that's simple: it comes from the painting The Oath of the Horatii by Jacques-Louis David.

Honestly, a lovely composition that makes great use of lighting and color with some striking emotions to really make for a powerful piece. But yeah, the "Roman salute" that this suggested is largely ahistorical.

France is smaller than Texas and fixed silos present a non-moving target to the enemy. Better to base them at sea so an enemy first strike can't take out all of your nukes.
It's still a leg of their nuclear triad that's been amputated, meaning that most of the 'weight' is now on a handful of ships that require a shitload of skilled operators and spare parts to keep running.

With an ICBM silo you just dig a hole and then the biggest maintenance issue is the physics package itself, in a submarine there's a mindbending amount of effort to keep the damn thing from either leaking or just going squish from water pressure.

Why the french are doing anything other than complain and smelling bad idk but there they are thinking they can play in the big leagues.

Never thought I'd actually see Trump starting to U-turn on Ukraine.
I would say Assads downfall, his asylum in Moscow and Irans partnership with Russia have changed the terms now.

A Putin loss is more likely than 6 months ago, but I’m not sure by how much.

M'niggeur... All completely useless if it gets nuked in the first salvo. The math of ABM defense made fixed ground based nukes a more expensive and less credible deterrent since MIRVs first came into service. Since France is a country smaller than Texas, and they don't have unlimited funds for les bombes atomique, they went for the option most likely to retain a second strike capability in the event of everybody getting tired of not living in a Fallout game.

If only you could see him now Abé.... surely you smile upon him.
Abe has become more powerful than they can possibly imagine.

However, despite all the bluster long term (and I am thinking 100 years here), its critical for the USA to secure Greenland. There is no justification for Denmarks control of it beyond that it was a colonial patrimony, and the population of the Island is simply too small to justify self governance given its unique economic and military significance.

Besides, the EU has made "decolonization" of the old European empires a stated goal. Returning Greenland to the American People is part of the decolonization. Its unconscionable that there is still a Colonial outpost with 50,000 Americans on it controlled by a European king. Or does Declonization only mean handing over former possessions to Chinese controlled stooges like Mauritius?
Denmark is a modern constitutional monarchy, and the monarch’s role is purely ceremonial, completely powerless. Pretending that Denmark’s monarchy somehow diminishes Greenland’s sovereignty is as idiotic as claiming Canada or Australia isn’t sovereign because they acknowledge the British Crown. It's a lazy argument and reeks of historical ignorance.

Greenland has been part of the Danish realm for almost a thousand years. This isn’t some colonial land-grab fantasy like what the U.S. is drooling over. The connection began in the 10th century with Norse settlers from Iceland under the Kingdom of Norway. These settlers established communities and maintained ties with Scandinavia. When Norway entered the Kalmar Union with Denmark in 1397, Greenland naturally became part of the union, no conquest, no exploitation, just historical continuity. The link to Denmark is legitimate, not some arbitrary claim like the nonsense you’re spewing.

So, no, Greenland isn’t up for sale or “return” to America (as if it was ever American to begin with). Your idea of 'decolonization' is laughable, it’s just a thinly veiled excuse for imperialism.
Stay mad!

His participation in this thread is the greatest admission of his own irrelevance he has to care what we decide to do. No one outside of Denmark cares what Denmark is doing. the doings of the king of Denmark are as irrelevant to me as the Beverly hills home owner association, and before the filthy euro says anything I neither know nor care what the proper title is for the leader of Denmark. that information has not been globally relevant since the fall of the holy roman empire.
Wow, Sweden just got replaced as bottom bitch

Sweden has facial hair compared to your gay peninsula

Denmark is the Michigan of Europe. Learn your place, 8 kilometer
I had forgotten Denmark was even a country.
Forgot Denmark was a country? Wild, considering Denmark’s Novo Nordisk is the reason half of America is lining up for Ozempic to lose all that fat. Danish innovation is literally the sole thing keeping the deathfat plague from ending you all.

I still think it's funny as shit that Reddit has essentially killed itself by banning X links.
Reddit dies the exact same way as digg, they didnt learn anything
gotta give imgur some credit too, they've been seething and deleting images that upset them extremely aggressively, making them a very unreliable image host and turning thousands of subreddits into a series of dead links. I dont mean offensive images or even Trump images, they're just deleting anything that feels like it might have a whiff of chud, from generic memes to anime girls to just pictures of conventionally attractive women

nah, reddit won't be allowed to die as it is too useful for astroturfing.

All these difficulties pale into insignificance when you consider the plus points of having a nuclear deterrent that can hit any point on the globe while remaining hidden.

Yes, but who to believe? The strategists and security architects who developed nuclear weapons, delivery vehicles, and doctrine? Or Cpt. Stud Beefpile, a guy who complains about the price of sex robots on Kiwi Farms? It's a toughie. 🤔

It's turned into a multi billion dollar version of NeoGAF.
