The most important thing Trump has done for the world so far is prove release the pressure valve. It wasn't just America that was on the brink of violent revolt. It was the entire planet that was on the path of global revolution and a very violent overthrowing of the US government. I think the TPTB realized this. The thing is, TPTB will always exist. They're not in any rush and they have decades to accomplish their goals. They don't need to risk losing the game just to make a mad dash to the finish line. Trump proving to the world that the systems can change from within and alleviating that pressure is in the best interest of everyone, even if it sets TPTB back half a century.
As long as people hate the government, it will happen. I think Europe will change. Brexit fucked them up something fierce. The EU has spent a literal century teaching Europeans to laugh at American entitlement and alleged "freedoms" solely due not wanting a populous that demands the same. That's why Europeans are such fucking cucks. It's been culturally instituted to laugh at the notion of basic rights of Americans and point out their absurdity.
