In the past year she's both been stuck on a ride and kicked off a ride for being too fat and those humiliations didn't motivate her to meaningfully modify her diet.

I believe that at the very least, Chantal sat in on an Addiction Recovery meeting. She was suddenly mouthing the words that one would hear at a 12 step type of program. Things like admitting you are "powerless" over your drug of choice; looking for a "sponsor" and maintaining total abstinence. Her blabbing on about the "program" being "faith based" was also Chantal repeating her poor understanding of what is meant by 12 step programs "higher power" schtick. But whatever.
I would like to think that perhaps Chantal will at least confront some of her demons in any recovery program, but i have been watching her cowardice and self-sabotage for long enough that I am 99.9 percent sure that she lacks the fortitude and strength of character to venture down the into the abyss.
Sucks for her; great for us.

She said the cleaning crew slipped a note under the door stating they HAD TO clean at least every three days, because she wasn't letting them in at all.

She initially lied about getting her full deposit back, after she denied breaking the couch. She said she got it all back, but now she's saying that the shitty sheets cost her a couple of hundred (Thai Baht, I assume). I have no doubt she DID also break the couch, but they didn't see it when inspecting the room.

But yeah, she'll most likely misinterpret the intention and find something about his looks and/or personality to make fun of.
