Becky is not going to respond well to the toddler years. Most of my kids have had at least a several month phase of "I will make insane loud noises just to see people's reaction" during age 2. Not because they were sad or angry or in any way unsatisfied, just because they thought it was
funny. Got to try different methods on different kids and I feel confident in saying it didn't matter. It resolved in about the same amount of time whether we ignored, redirected, physically carried them off to their room every time, whatever.
Hannah's going to figure out very rapidly that Becky has massive performative reactions to her crying or screaming, and toddlers
love inducing performative reactions.

And she thinks Hannah's autistic. Lord help her if that's actually true, because those kids don't stop the screams when the terrible twos and preschooler tantrums stop.
Becky also says that dealing with Hannah right now makes her think more about how great abortions are.
