Good callout of the "logic" being espoused by today's left. The "good liberals" have really gone mask-off about what they think immigrants are for: they're here to work for a wage that is, according to them, below the level of human dignity.

It's really a huge number of people talking smugly about "what will you do now for cheap gardening and childcare and all the restaurant labor?"

If America was only held together by an invisible class of slave laborers, perhaps it's better to rip that band-aid off and figure out a more sustainable way to run the labor force.

I'm waiting for businesses to figure out the same solution they had pre-immigration for picking crops and washing dishes...teenagers. The screaming from the left about how this is exactly like sending kids to the mines to work for scrip will be audible from the Andromeda galaxy.
This really needs to be the #1 rallying cry of the American Right. Also imagine if we revamped our school systems to actually teach kids things like MATH and Science and brought back all of our Honors programs again so we can start accelerating gifted youth into the fields of Science and Technology straight out of Grade and High-Schools, instead of making them languish with Niggers and Third Worlders endlessly in Public schools that don't even teach Math or Reading Comprehension anymore because its too racist for their little grape brains.
Imagine if College was once again a place of Higher-Learning instead of Diversity and Equity Daycare?

They may as well be. If you were to invent a cartoon caricature of a hapless group of "patriots" to discredit an entire movement with you couldn't have done a better job then they themselves have. Hell even the feds thought they were feds.
The most suspicious thing to me is that I never hear anything from them. They don't have a forum, no prominent social media/creator presence, no PF guys on sites like this... it's almost like they're 100% astroturfed.

I don't want slavery. And I'm saying that as a literal racist. I don't want a lesser class of illegal people that work horrible jobs in my country just so my prices go down. These jobs should be given to americans and the work conditions improved. Industralize and standardize that shit. I can't believe democrats and literal american senators are defending this angle.

:stress:
It makes me think of Sparta. Sparta was two Greek City states in one. The Spartans and the Helots. Helots were just property to the Spartans. They also did all the non warlike things like farm food, prepare food, cook food, make clothes and everything else that wasn't training, fighting or drinking. A Spartan could choose to kill a Helot and face no consequences. They would even organize raids into the Helot city as a bit of fun.
Spartans being good at getting into wars but bad at getting out of wars eventually lost a war too hard and the Helots were freed. When this happened Sparta became just a backwards shithole clinging on to an old name and never amounted to anything.

Legally if parts of Canada start declaring loyalty to the Union, we are pretty well obligated to respond.
That is a tad more complicated because the USA also recognizes the Canadian State as independent and we have signed treaties recognizing the border of that State. The issue for Canada is that internally the Canadian federal system is not a perpetual Union like in the USA. Its a free association akin to antebellum America.

Then Elon wouldn't have any excuse to bring in indentured servants on H1B

It's a free association akin to fucking each other over but not doing anything because Canadians are fucking pussies.

They'd have no problem with full amnesty for all illegals. tbf they can't just come right out and say that they're in favor of whatever hurts average middle class white people, so they have to rely on these sorts of disingenuous arguments.

I was in a discord (I know, gay) with someone in PF. He was a low-IQ retard 'ex'-furry former meth addict who was barely out of his teenage years who once put up a video of him and another retard in wehrmacht larp gear trying and failing to set fire to a pride flag then doing a left-handed roman salute. No wonder the feds thought they were glowies.

Re-watching the rendition of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" being done in the rotunda for the inauguration.
There's an important thing to note that the lyrics used were the original, instead of the 'modernized' version, specifically modern versions likes to use "let us live to make men free", where the original, and superior version as heard here, is "let us die to make men free" with a pretty heavy emphasis.

Americans have fought and died for the peace and freedom of our children centuries now, and Trump nearly joined them. I don't know if this connection was done on purpose or if he just liked one of (in my view the single) greatest songs of Americana, but it's an interesting connection nonetheless.

The most insane thing to come from the last few days is the constant stream of "stuff that could've been done incredibly easily, yet wasn't."
Both in terms of stuff Biden could've been doing (Hurricane Aid, the pic you posted, etc.) and stuff Republicans could've done for decades.
Trump got in office and revealed that you can just do things, and the idea that doing things is harder than it sounds because "Government is complicated" was always just cope.
