It makes me think of Sparta. Sparta was two Greek City states in one. The Spartans and the Helots. Helots were just property to the Spartans. They also did all the non warlike things like farm food, prepare food, cook food, make clothes and everything else that wasn't training, fighting or drinking. A Spartan could choose to kill a Helot and face no consequences. They would even organize raids into the Helot city as a bit of fun.
Spartans being good at getting into wars but bad at getting out of wars eventually lost a war too hard and the Helots were freed. When this happened Sparta became just a backwards shithole clinging on to an old name and never amounted to anything.

This is one of the reasons the left is so hell bent on dumbing everything down, outsourcing every industry we have, and making sure no one can do anything, let alone make enough from it to live well. A civilization that can’t support itself is not resilient, and one you can easily subjugate.

If it did happen, we'd have more than 51. Canada as a whole would be unlikely to want to join (Quebec would want to be their own country) and each province could elect to leave Canada independently. The most likely to break away and want to join the US would be Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Others might join over time, but if Canada collapses it won't happen all at once.

I'm inclined to think that it won't happen at all as the Conservative party is poised to sweep the next election and I expect them to look to the successes that Trump has had and implement similar reforms and policies.

In Canada the "Conservatives" are just liberal lite, and have committed to many of the other shitty practices everyone hates. Literally the lesser of the evils but still evil

It is absolutely unbelievable what has happened. The rulers of the most powerful nation on earth have disregarded and pushed their own people to the point that they are speaking in revolutionary terms. Quite a few Euro's have lost their mind in this thread over the things being pounded on. Like telling Denmark that if it wants a Colony in the western hemisphere, it can fight for it. I don’t think they care. Milley told his Chinese counterpart that he’ll let him know “if anything happens (paraphrase).” Either they see foreign elites as closer to them than their citizens, or they see China controlling everything as A Good Thing so long as they’re still in charge on paper.
