Members of my family and friends visited right after the fires and were of the mind they were supporting Hawaii. & the "unrestricted hunting/fishing rights" is just free hunting tags (and not many hunting tags; like, one or two per year) and free hunting/fishing licenses. The best benefit (at least in Oklahoma) is the cheaper car registration/tags/titles. & I guess tax free cigarettes if you smoke/live near a rez smokeshop (not that Oklahoma cigarette taxes are high or anything). Purchases on the rez aren't subject to sales taxes. But even natives living entirely on rez land still have to pay federal income taxes/social security/etc.
