There are dozens of more interesting and exotic places to visit than Canada to give Americans a reason to get passports.
I have to get a passport for domestic flights because my state gives drivers licenses to illegal immigrants. They keep delaying when it goes into effect but it's been the law for a couple years now.

On the topic of Native Americans and their special relationship with the USA throughout history, they are more than just citizens but wards of the federal government. They don't pay taxes and have special rights and privileges in accordance with the treaties made between their tribes and the USA. For example, it is common for tribes to have full and unrestricted fishing and hunting rights on lands that belonged to the tribe historically, even if its private property.

In the 1940s up until the late 1960s, the federal government pursued a policy of Indian termination. Tribes would lose all legal status and recognition and their members would become plain-jane US citizens overnight. This policy ended up greatly immiserating just about every tribe that was terminated, and by the time of Nixon the policy was rolled back through a policy of Indian-restoration.

The idea of them losing citizenship status is funny because what would they become? Stateless like Somalians? Where would they go? The worst that can happen is renewed termination which I both disagree with and find highly unlikely.

Didn't Abe wanted to deport the slaves back to Africa?
The only thing Abraham Lincoln believed in was centralizing the United States government by any means necessary. He was arguably a tyrant, and no I'm not a southerner. Of the two sides of the Civil War, the south was more Anglo-Saxon while the north bore down on them with armies of people fresh off the boats (including my own co-ethnics.) I'm not saying the wrong side won, but I am saying that the right should be more charitable to the south because they're literally more American than just about anyone else.

It's amazing how McConnell can be both a cowardly turtle and a scummy snake that won't go away.

Not really. He doesn't even have to be a snake either, he can just be one of those nasty, conniving softshell turtles. Those things are evil incarnate, are a pain in the ass to unhook when they steal your bait and are slippery as fuck. Also look crazy in the eyes.

We call it Yacht Rock now and its cool again.

How dare you disrespect Christopher Cross like that.
I agree fully, I have a soft spot for Fatpacks. If he were to suddenly stop posting, like was advertised after the monumental, crushing win. Well, I'd miss him. We'd have a fat hole that could never be packed.
Gay. Very gay.

I like this idea you can only smoke weed recreational after completing intense psychological exams showing you to be a well rounded human being with other interests (Music and Drawing do not count)

Edit:Also the weed license costs 2000$ and you need to show up in a business suit.
How about you get weed vouchers from your job, kind of like paid vacation time.
This way the hard-workers can unwind with a little pakalolo or on their well-earned break while the unmotivated would-be stoners are forced to get a fucking job.

I don’t think they care. Milley told his Chinese counterpart that he’ll let him know “if anything happens (paraphrase).” Either they see foreign elites as closer to them than their citizens, or they see China controlling everything as A Good Thing so long as they’re still in charge on paper.
You see but DRUMPFLER was such a threat to Our Democracy (TM) that selling out to a hostile foreign power was the only choice!

Annexing Alberta would be funny, but it would destroy out beautiful borders and shape as a nation.
The disgusting borders would drive the autistic and map painting game fans into a frenzy and they would demand for more expansion and war until our borders look nice.
This already happened when we made Alaska and Hawaii states for some retarded reason. They were perfectly fine as territories.

JFK signed off on the military coup. Diem's brother called RFK freaking out and JFK ordered little bro to tell him not to flee everything is fine we guarantee your safety, knowing that it was all a lie and he was about to be arrested and killed too
I don’t believe this is true. IIRC, his cabinet was divided on the issue, and certain members of his cabinet took the initiative to greenlight the coup and the execution of Diem and his brother.

Alberta is the best for for America, actively wants to join America, and them joining would completely buck break Canada and force it to decide and shit or get off the pot. Canada has been nothing but a parasite on America and has its entire existence be around leeching off its power.
Look ice nigger, if you guys vote to become a protectorate and beg Donald Trump to appoint a military governor to oversee extraction of your natural resources, I'm still not certain it would be a good deal; I'll be fucked before a whole Godforsaken Canadian province votes in an American election. You're not getting in.
The Atlantic: America Is Now Counting on You, Pete Hegseth (archive)

Faggy letter to Hegseth from Tom Nichols.
Thank you for linking and archiving it, and thank you for letting me know it's gay so I wouldn't bother looking at it.

You are fucking retarded. Abraham Lincoln took charge after Buchanan set the country on a collision course of destruction. He did the right thing, and the only wrong thing he did was taking a stop at that theater where a Democrat shot him.

Pretty much. I’m all for states’s rights, but there has to be a limit. You shouldn’t just be able to leave the Union over disagreements with the federal government, that’s an awful framework for a nation (just look at the Holy Roman Empire). Lincoln did some things I’m not too happy about and I can understand why one would call him a tyrant, but he was undeniably right for wanting more centralization. The United States wouldn’t have survived this long in a timeline where centralization doesn’t take place.
