This. Like, Cherokee on R/IndianCountry (largest Native American subreddit) are pissed.

Anyway, here's a good post explaining why the Lumbee are just fraudsters pretending to be natives for gibbs:

I'm sure it's a great post; why did you incompetently censor the name of the account that posted it, and not link to it? Did you write it?
Here, let me fix that for you: https://old.reddit.com/r/IndianCoun...p_calls_on_the_federal_government_to/m94gamo/

EDIT: adding archive because I thought that's what we're supposed to do on this site. I could edit out the direct link if anyone actually thinks there's some benefit to that

They are mostly a mix of African and European descent but most also do descend from those labeled as Native American in prior well, centuries. NC recognized them over a century ago but they were not given federal recognition and their blood got diluted since.

Notably, a -lot- of modern tribes are also just about as heavily diluted but because they already had federal recognition, they are grandfathered in. All Trump's recognition does is drop an annoyance off the board that makes an appearance every once in a while.

I dunno. I think Trump has woken up, and certain right-leaning people have woken up to the need to be forceful and not passive. But I really don't think the general population has woken up. Reading into his victory too much can lead to a false sense of confidence. There needs be consecutive wins, especially a post Trump politics, because I really think Republicans are just riding Trump's coat tails without thinking too much into the future.
The Republican Party is deadweight, just a containment zone for patriots. What I meant to insinuate is that most people completely ignored the popular talking heads and voted for their own best interests using common sense alone. That fact is phenomenal and a wonderful sign.

No, I didn't write it (I'm not Cherokee, nor am I retarded enough to link to my own account on Reddit. I rarely post in IndianCountry, it's full of libshits and larpers). I just censored the username 'cause I've quoted/screenshotted Reddit comments on here that got deleted from Reddit, presumably after anti-Kiwis told the OP it was being posted on Kiwi Farms (alternatively, Reddit Admins/Mods browse Kiwi Farms and delete the posts Kiwis like 🤷‍♀️ )

Since we're on this topic, would like to note that Native Americans are the only racial minority group in the US which reliably votes Republican, probably because of Calvin Coolidge making all Native Americans US citizens. The other is Cubans, and that's Cubans in Miami who fled Castro and know how to sniff out Marxism when they see it in Democrat policies.

You're not necessarily wrong to an extent but at the same time it's somewhat understandable that the relatively pure Indians that are left care about people being legitimate or not in an age of fakes and people claiming to be a part of a tribe that only came back to existence less then a century ago.

That's fair, I just think that if anyone here disagrees with you and thinks the post is actually not good, they have the right to gangstalk and cast spells on the account that posted it, and our ancestors fought for them to not have to use reddit search in order to do so (I didn't btw, I just went to the sub, clicked on the first OP I thought might have the post, and found it in seconds).

Oh also,
1. I 100% believe the account is not you because
2. They are totally a libshit who's paranoid Trump is going to put Native Americans in camps.

The tribe gained recognition from NC in 1885, 140 years ago. That's a bit more than "Less than a century"

I actually think it's because we're a people who had to deal with government bureaucracy/government run healthcare for literally generations (although the majority of tribes nowadays fund their own healthcare plans/don't rely on the Indian Health Service, since it fucking sucks). We realize government promises & social programs rarely amount to much - the only people who can help improve your community/lot in life are, well, you. Also, most of us live in Oklahoma, so like, we're stereotypical red state football loving "America, fuck yeah!" 2nd amendment supporting, American flag-waving patriots.

Libtards often expect us natives to hate America 'the way they do, cause of all the injustices that happened to our ancestors - but that's rarely the case. Like, sure it's sad and stuff, and definitely was a tragedy - but it also happened forever ago. It is what is is, and my ancestors wouldn't want me to piss my life away 'moping over "muh colonialism". & like I said previously, I like electricity, Applebee's, Batman, the radio, ice cream, french fries, the telephone, horses, french bulldogs, cars, Yankee Candles - you get the idea. All stuff made by white folks.

Oh boy, I always wanted to go to Space Camp! 🚀🛰️

Also they DO NOT trust the government. Anything that asks for more govt control they will not like because their entire history is a series of L's for them trusting the government in good faith. They literally invented army forces branches to fight natives and had specific wars against them. We literally invented the revolver to fight Commanche in Texas. And literally invented the FBI because of the Osage murders.... FBi also has special jurisdiction on 200+/- tribal lands and it's well known that outsiders come and kill, stealing, or raping native women (look up MMIW) and basically can get away with it due to feds historically not allowing tribal policing or jailing+ generally not giving a shit about the redman.

Feathers distrust feds more than any Dale Gribble pilled Patriot alive. Feathers are more knowledgeable towards the fickleness and ruthlessness of government than any victim of Waco or Ruby Ridge. You think you hate them, but your feelings could not even compare and is not even a footprint in the sand on the Trail of Tears of government hardships. The average Native is born with hundreds of years of distrust for feds ingrained into their DNA.

So might as well pick the political party that does not believe in them taking massive control compared to libs who want to trust the government with everything.

This is why most Natives are incredibly based.

Today's Dems living in the West Coast and NY could only wish they had the balls to mirror 1860s Southern Dems on secession. They're not doing a damn thing except cry since they actively want to disarm themselves, something a Texan/Floridian/Virginian wouldn't ever do in the face of the "northern aggression". All they got going for them is "peaceful" protests as their strongest card, which would also kill them too.
Not only that, but the men of the day showed that your countrymen on the other side were your brothers (oftentimes literally). Accounts of Confederates rendering aid to Union troops amidst battle, or hell Grant himself reportedly ordering his men to stop cheering upon the agreement of surrender between himself and Lee. We weren't meant to celebrate the tragic and senseless losses of our neighbors and family. Everybody was fighting for the country they believed in, but you weren't meant to find joy in the killing of your barber or grocer from earlier that week.

Contrast that with the sentiment that the left has adopted where they salivate over the idea of going out into the streets and murdering you.

As a natural consequence of multiple years of abuse at their snarky hands, many people salivate over the idea of doing the same to them, perhaps even in self defense. Polarization is a hell of a thing.

It's really funny that libs think people would want to live how our ancestors did. The only ones who do are painfully mongoloid.

The law from even then is said to refer to the Lumbee as "Croatan Indians" which is good evidence that even at that time no one was sure of their background, only that they were perceived and claimed to be some kind of American Indian. There a number of theories for their origin. They don't have their own language. At the very least it has to be acknowledged they don't have the legitimacy around them peoples like the Cherokee, Navajo or Choctaw do. I can understand the poltiical reality that their support is useful and they should be rewarded for that but the statements being made about their identity are questionable.

Lincoln also had a band near the Whitehouse play "Dixie" saying "I've always really liked that tune."... Had he lived, I don't think it would have been as bad bringing the family back together. The keeping together of the Union was the most important thing to him and other Patriots.

Trump feels this way too. It's why (((DEI))) is a ploy to suck the spirit away and divide Americans. The same way that infighting keeps us from uniting as Patriots. They want us to identify as everything BUT American. They fear the American and what a powerhouse America is and can be. Especially when we stand up for ourselves and unite across race, sex, and class....

We definitely don't trust the Feds/are generally for smaller government. But I wouldn't say we're Timothy McVeigh-style "fuck the government" types.

Generally, we have realistic expectations for the government; we know they're not capable of much, and especially prone to fucking things up. Hence, why I spend so much time on the farms snarking on libtard Breadtubers who genuinely think a government composed entirely of far-left AOC types would somehow stop climate change/fix income inequality/provide adequate healthcare/pay off student loans/generally fix all the random problems said Breadtubers struggle with in life. A government can't do any of that, and far left politicians who claim they can are liars taking advantage of libtards for grift profit/clout.
