It has really fucked up his show. At its peak the show was like reading a really good “personal lolcow” thread every week. You can do an hour of riffing on the former, but the latter is so much funnier.

Isn't Nick the least bit concerned that his daughter had those results? Is he not even slightly considered regarding the possibility it could be true through no fault of his own? Maybe his daughter really did get into some cocaine which someone else carelessly left out. Why would he sooner jump to "this test is bullshit because Quora" instead of allowing the powers that be to investigate further? Which is it, Nick? No, because the trust isn't really a party. If you mean AFTER Nick gets it, though, yes. And if it can be proven he has income but is willfully refusing to pay, that can be contempt. If Montagraph is found a public figure for the purposes of this lawsuit, it will make his case more difficult to prove, but because if proven it would have to be to the actual malice standard, it would be considered an intentional tort and nondischargeable in bankruptcy.

I didn't believe that result the first time it was announced. Yet Nick did his level best to convince me.

1. He said in the court transcripts if any child tests positive its from exposure elsewhere.

2. Cocaine hands cop.

3. 20% of children would test positive.

4. The state refused a retest, but no retest request was in the transcripts.

5. She would be dead if the reading was real.

6. Insinuating Aaron somehow dosed her.

You can't claim all of these.

If Nick was being honest he could show that retest being refused. He won't because he can't. All he needed to do was say "Obviously my child doesn't use cocaine. She is healthy and happy, as confirmed by CPS. Yet I had cocaine in my house. I made it possible by some method I don't understand"

Definitely still in for the Monty thing. I think it has a lot more potential to be actually funny than the criminal arc which was seriously pretty depressing. Funny but the actual impact on innocent people like his kids has been shit, and it's just disgusting watching this worm justify ruining their lives.
