All Nick learned from law school was how to be a weasely snake
He didn't even learn to do it well. He learned to be so obviously a lying snake that no matter what lie he tells, people assume the most damning actual reality, because they recognize him as a complete piece of shit.

Nah, the rules of the film say Nick can't withhold the truth

It'd be constant gems like:

"I hate my wife and I deliberately keep her drugged up and self loathing so I can sleep with other women!"

and

"I gave my daughter cocaine on purpose and I don't care!"

He's already admitted that he not only did "a mountain" of coke, but that he misses it and would do it again if it was legal.
Well, at least one part would match up with the film perfectly. When he blurts out "I'M A BAD FATHER!"

This bitching and moaning is because either he’s trying to cover up by lying or he legitimately thinks that whatever “medical” use he has for the coke in the daughter shouldn’t show up on tests. Because it was “medicinal” not recreational the test can’t catch it.
Remember, this dumb, retarded liar is so stupid he thinks he can claim things like 107 degree fevers and think this is believable even though anyone with even basic knowledge knows that's death fever and if you aren't in a hospital you're dead.

He literally claimed that. 107 degree fever. Fucking idiot.

He thinks people are dumber than he is when he's generally the dumbest man in the room.

Boo fucking hoo.
Oh yeah, totally, the guy who called every single outcome in the case correctly is a wrong idiot, because Cuckieta, the dumbest motherfucker in the history of the world, who has never been right about anything, says so.

I hear this entire post in his gay, faggy, nasal, absolutely wrong about everything voice.

I seem to recall he actually called that the cuck would plead guilty and get a cush deal too. Didn't that actually happen also?

Has Sean been wrong about anything? At all? Ever? Has Nick been right about anything? About his own case? At all? Ever?

Also. . .let's just look forward and see how it turns out with Montagraph. Nick seems to think it's going to go really well for him. He's cast the Rekieta Curse on himself. Because we know how that shit works out.

Yeah, me having to tell Monty and then everyone I was wrong is such a "bitch move." It's not that I realized I was wrong and that was unfair to make such a claim against someone, nope it can't be that in the Rekieta calculus.....only bitches apologize

Tells you a lot that he sees apologizing as being a bitch.
Let's think like lawyers and try to find out what Nick actually meant:
Nick is claiming Sean is wrong about Nick because Sean is...upset about retracting his claims about Montagraph, and hasn't forgiven Nick for "his own choices". Wow. What a funny and weird fucking statement to include in there. Unless of course...he's projecting.

Let's try something:

Nick is claiming Nick is wrong about Montagraph and is mad at Sean for retracting his claims about Montagraph, and Nick hasn't forgiven himself for his own choices. Why? Because Nick is six figures into debt with Monty, and Sean...said "sorry, I was wrong to say that" and got nothing?

Actually, yeah, that does make way more sense. Especially in hindsight, with that one instance of Nick messaging Sean privately to try to shame him with it, like a fucking woman.

Literally fuck off Nick. You couldn't be more transparent if you became Nicole Rekieta and cut your worthless dick off.

Amazing how clear your decision making is in the absence of cocaine.

I don't remember what Nick did specifically to cause Sean's reaction in the clip I just included, but I remember it being really shitty and insidious. It's almost as if anything you say to Nick in private can and will be used against you in public, and Nick sees this as a win, but it's not. Because it shows he can't keep confidences. Because he's morally incapable of being an attorney.

Holy fuck you have to sink low that you can't even maintain basic lawyer ethics.

He "threatened" Sean with making public that he (Sean) had apologized to Montagraph.
So Sean took away Nick's "ammunition" and simply said it himself.

Apologizing is a very adult thing to do, something Nick entirely failed to learn.

I can't readily find his first tweet when Nick was arrested but the comparison with "Okay, you were right" (or whatever it said) would be funny to quote tweet to him.

a.) It wasn't a sweetheart deal. It was the standard sentence any first time offender in Rekeita's position would expect.
For me, it's not specifically Nick's pleading down to 3rd-degree drug possession that's the "sweetheart" part.

Kayla's charges being dropped is what's surprising. (April's were always flimsy.) (Additionally, the possibility of Nick having the felony expunged from his record was extra annoying. Yes, the 3rd degree felony dictates this but it still feels far too forgiving.)

I think it's fair to be a little shocked that Kayla is escaping all charges.

b.) They got the warrant after they saw him on stream, out of his head with white powder smeared all over his enormous beak. Why would they believe Kayla is the issue after seeing that?
Right. And he's the one being punished. The only one. That's the weird part. As someone said on the other thread, she has a history of drug abuse. For her not to be under any supervision seems dangerous on its face.

I've read up on a lot of drug possession cases in MN counties involving couples (including several decisions from Wentzell). It's common for the wife to receive a lighter sentence but not a total walk on the charges.

Anyway, Nick getting the floral tribute tat for Kayla and discussing the hilarious idea of him and Kayla packaging up the 5K gift would indicate that she's still around so she's probably not institutionalized.

Just... Overall, the Kayla part of this feels very odd to me. It's almost as if the State believes she is being treated in another way, perhaps dictated by CPS?
