2) LAND VALUE TAX
Is widely recognized as the least distortionary and most socially just tax. Look up Georgism. Private residences and family farms will be exempt. New Zealand did this back when it was still based and it was great.
If by “socially just” you mean “be taxed into oblivion and forced to sell your land if someone else thinks you’re using it ‘unproductively’”, then Land Value Taxes are socially just.

In New Zealand they exempted family farms and homes which HELPS the homeowner/family farmer by keeping down demand for all the alternative uses of land. That puts the squeeze on your ching-chong Chinese nationals and your Malthusian/transhumanist billionaires like Bill Gates buying up everything, too. That's not pure Georgism, but I'm not a Georgist either so I don't give a shit. I think that if you're going to tax anything it makes a hell of a lot more sense to tax things nobody made than to tax things that people made with their own two hands.

Explain to me how this is worse than having to cough up govt tribute every time you buy something from the store.

News flash: you already pay a property tax and have since the earliest days of the country. A land value tax eliminates the tax on all the improvements (like the buildings you put on it).

ITT: Kiwi Farmers oppose taxing foreign land barons because a broken clock (Reddit) is right twice a day.

Regarding the ICE stuff, does anyone know what the deal is around coordinates
34°03'18"N 118°13'30"W on Google Maps? It's a thing going around Twitter now:

If you look around those coordinates, which are in LA, you get a lot of HELP etched into the ground, as well as words like TRAFFICO.

The writing is real, mind, so I am wondering what the heck.

Looks like an empty lot in Google Maps. I'd first guess it was some homeless schizophrenic with nothing better to do, though it is very odd. They must have had paint and markers to make these signs so I don't think these would be made by people trapped/held in the lot.

Oh, no! We won't be able to buy shit made with Colombian sweatshop and slave labor! Whatever shall we do on the most bullshit, commercialized, made-up holiday ever?
Theory time: the reason why the Colombian president and other governments are mad that America is deporting criminals back to their place of origin is because those governments let those criminal cross or alternatively exported them into the us illegally somthey wouldn't have to prosecute them.

Mucho texto

Trump should reply with just a Tl;Dr and say "ok whatever"

Colombia does not have a monopoly on either of those products. I guarantee that Brazilian coffee farmers will be more than happy to pick up the slack, as will Ecuadoran and such others. Same with flowers.
Bet those flowers are being picked right now, in preparation to be flown to the USA.

Most definitely, Europe has the exact same issue. Why spend money incarcerating your criminals when you can just export the problem?

Exactly, those flowers took time and resources to grow. They are still going to have to sell them in the US to try to make money, regardless of any tariffs.

The Trump administration knows that these shithole countries need America a lot more than America needs them. Playing hardball as regards trade with them has become a viable tactic to get them to do other shit.

Women in their 40's to 50's are at the point where they are just completely done with the bullshit. They want stability, security, and common sense, which a lot of men can offer. They usually have their shit together, so guys don't have to worry about having random arguments about menial shit that happened months ago.
I noticed that women in their 40s-50s tend to be bitter.
So the Starbucks leftists will preach for criminals for their precious coffee! Lord have mercy.

When it comes to tax policy, I have a few proposals that I think Trump will be amenable to, these all serve specific purposes.

1) ELIMINATE ALL TAXES EXCEPT WHAT I DESCRIBE BELOW

2) LAND VALUE TAX
Is widely recognized as the least distortionary and most socially just tax. Look up Georgism. Private residences and family farms will be exempt. New Zealand did this back when it was still based and it was great.

3) TARIFFS
NOT for use in industrial policy, but CONSTANT tariff rates for each country fixed in law. Industrial policy is corporate welfare. It’s corrupt. Constant tariffs will still favor some industries over others (those that face more foreign competition), but it’s more rare and I’d rather tariff than tax AS A WAY OF RAISING REVENUE. Tariff policy should be aimed at punishing enemies of America and liberty worldwide.

3) NATURAL RESOURCE EXTRACTION TAX. Pairs with the ethical argument for Georgism but must be some kind of fixed rate; I don’t want the govt fucking with resource extraction for environmentalist reasons.

4) As a sop to global warming freaks, CARBON TAX at the point of fuel use and not to be taxed again. Like, only when you sell the fuel itself. Must be set by an independent committee of environmental economists and requires approval of Congress to increase but not to decrease. MUST BE SET BY ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMIST COMMITTEE. Congress can veto a tax hike but not a tax cut.

5) A separate and especially punitive CARBON TARIFF for foreign imports made with carbon emissions.

6) END THE FED
NEW STANDARD OF A WELL-DIVERSIFIED PORTFOLIO OF SPECIE, CRYPTO AND COMMODITIES FUTURES

7) INCOME SUBSIDY FOR LOW INCOME AMERICANS

8) HIGHER CORPORATE INCOME TAX

9) PIGOUVIAN TAXES (taxes meant to penalize a company for things that are unavoidable, but still socially harmful, like industrial smog) set by the EPA. Distinct from the CARBON TAX.
To add, at the end of the day, outside of the specific regulations that govern production your legal system should be so piss-easy to understand it that even a retarded normalfag can wrap their head around it.

Nobody should have to need something like a tax accountant if they're not the owner of a big company, and even then I doubt that.

It's through good intentions (okay, I'm being extremely generous, it's not) that you get new laws, but it's a death by a thousand cuts. This shit is too complicated and we need to dramatically simplify. Something like this (LVT and a nonrenewable extraction fee, tariffs, carbon taxes, corporate income tax as society's fee for getting to pretend that your legal imaginary friend is totes a real person) is simple and it can be pitched to Leftists in a way that they might actually accept changing the tax burden in a way that's more useful even if the govt needs to take in the same amount as before. Get them to endorse it conditional on agreeing to knock down sales and income tax.

Especially the idea of eco-protectionism. I know Leftists are dipshits and do whatever the TV tells them, I'm being way too optimistic here, but I think that "China is KILLING THE PLANET" is a really good angle to play if you want to get people that hate America to vote for American industry.
