That was his explanation for why Henry could swing the other way, when he had two gfs in the first game.
What this user posted is the explanation for why they included the gay romance in the game in the first place. I take the response by Vavra as soft confirmation that it is, indeed, meant to be something that comes back as a consequence later.

I am NOT happy about it being a Henry-Hans thing. Hans is flamboyant, but obviously a womanizer. Even though I was right on thinking they didn't add it for no reason, I am stumped by that decision.

In real life terms it makes sense, since the kind of degeneracy Hans engages in daily is what leads people IRL to engage in gay sex eventually, but from a story-telling perspective it's very disappointing.

I think the most likely series of events:

1. Told to put DEI shit into the game
2. thought they'd be clever and subvert it by having 'faggots are bad actually'
3. completely fucked up the PR.
4. dig in and lie to protect their claimed 'based' story.
5. PR gets even more retarded and attacks people who question the obvious DEI stuff

A big maybe. I don't think investors like the stocks&chill chuddie who are clearly anti-woke would invest in embracer for KCD2 if they didn't have confirmation that the studio has complete artistic freedom.
However, what you describe minus step 1 is not unlikely.

There is one more in the stream that's even worse IMO. He actually say's "Who cares if the developer lies". If anyone watches this guy after such a statement then I don't know what to tell ya.

Yeah, that means he has no standards and no morals, but that's something you would obviously expect from a paid shill. What's with his obsession with elder abuse?
Synth said that he had some pretty interesting, now long deleted drunk streams where he does and says some questionable things as well. All I am saying, I wish they were still up right up. Maybe there is a stream out there where he would elaborate on that point, or maybe he would just say more embarrassing shit altogether, who knows.

I'm pretty sure the game will sell on the same level as the first game. But, if I'm keeping with my CDPR comparison, it will not be the breakthrough game like Witcher 3 was. It will not turn Warhorse into a AAA developer. If the game is truly egregious with its fagshit, then it might doom them in the long run. The worst thing than a bad game nobody plays is a bad game everybody played. Unless they get fujos to stop playing other games that already cater to their sensibilities to get this, the historically passionate (mostly right-wing) fanbase the original made will abandon it.

I took the liberty of screenshotting every one of the 400+ comments currently on Mack's community post, in case he deletes it too.

As could be expected, about half the comments are telling Mack off and the other half are licking his asshole. Funny to see every single Czech flag sweeping up for Vavra HARD. I'm posting this now since I've heard reports of Mack and his jannies deleting comments, and of course he can get asshurt again and delete the community post itself at any minute.
Personally, I can't really take this dude seriously again. Knowing he can have a spergout like this and cry like a little girl over a game that he is biased towards, not just that but sweep up for developers and openly talk about enacting censorship on his channel and that's before we get into his cringy britbong political takes, means that his opinions lost their weight. No, you being around since 2003 doesn't mean anything Mack, AVGN was around for almost as long and look at him now. It is very clear when someone sells out, and I do believe this is it, people used to have respect for Gman too.
Anyways, depending on how Mack handles this, he might be a candidate for a lolcow thread. I've already heard whispers of his behavior during Brexit and Gamergate, but I don't know the details.
