J6ers were protesting an election we all know was rigged. They protested by walking around in the capitol, respecting the interior, and taking pictures. Then they were arrested, beaten, hunted down via social media, and subjected to FOUR YEARS of brutal imprisonment without trial.

They were pardoned because they were turned into political martyrs by the Biden Admin and tortured in hell for standing up for America. Pardoning them was the right move and it fits Trump's agenda. Over simplifying it is disingenuous.
Plus the only downside to being pardoned is that they waive the right to remain silent - something that is moot because the democrats really don't want to question them about what actually happened.

Women will tell you they hate flowers but they all love flowers.
I'd prefer a potted plant so it doesn't finish dying after a week.

If I bought my wife flowers, she would hit me with them and demand to know why I got her that instead of another dog.
Dogs do last longer than cut flowers. You also get a companion for the next 10-20 years.

This is still one of the funniest videos I've seen from Africa. The way it all comes down makes it seem like the ceremonial ribbon was the only thing holding it together.

Is this that fabled "black excellence" I keep hearing about every black history month?

from what i know of US doctrine, isn't one of our first priorities crippling the enemy's air-air, land-air, and sea-air defenses? almost none of this hardware would likely even be able to scramble if the US were to launch a military maneuver. wouldn't we just light up the airfields with drones before our planes ever left the tarmac?

Yes, current US doctrine is total air dominance over the enemy. Disable their SAMs or whatever anti-air measures they possess and own the skies. Once that's settled you start moving in ground forces. I think in Iraq we dismantled everything Saddam had in like 100 hours and of course naval power assets play a vital role in air dominance.

We have our fancy carriers, our missile cruisers, and if need be, we can dust off our old Iowa-class battleships and use them to bombard targets with 16-inch guns. When you dig into American capabilities it's stupidly unfair for everyone else, but like the old saying goes "If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics suck"

Part of fixing a problem is recognizing how bad it is. Trump needs to be yeeting 10,000-20,000 illegals A DAY for his entire term to clean this mess up.
Many will hopefully be self deporting as they know that making moving arrangements beforehand is better then being kicked out with only the shirt on their backs.

>I, president of Columbia, am furious at the horrible conditions that the U.S. is putting our citizens in.
>So furious in fact, that I will make sure that instead of them being given to me so I can give them better conditions, they will be in the U.S. custody as long as possible.
>I will make sure that they will be sent back to the U.S. in handcuffs, so they can then be sent to Columbia NOT in handcuffs, therefore forcing them to an extra unnecessary flight in handcuffs.
>Also this decision will severely complicate our current economy, but that is a risk I am willing to take, for the sake of making our citizens that left fly away in handcuffs, and then fly back not in handcuffs.
>Also they are all rapists, murders, and other violent criminals. Hell, I'll probably put them in handcuffs as soon as they land for our own safety.

I don't usually talk to Columbians but please tell me non of them are stupid enough to fall for this.

Trump should take him up on his offer to use his plane. I'm sure that a group of criminals who aren't placed in cuffs will behave like decent human beings on the flight back to Colombia. I'm sure they won't piss and shit on the floor or try to rip out a seat or pull apart the plane to make some kind of shiv or other weapon.

I can't think about Bob Saget without thinking about Tourette's Guy.
OT: I am not yet tired of winning. Some people in my area have floated the idea of coordinating on Nextdoor and similar apps for community monitoring and reporting of illegals. I'm all for it, since the miggers who haven't yet been picked up are bound to be assessing their options. Some will try to lie low, but others might resort to violent crime in desperation. I'm glad people here are at least attempting to plan and prepare for that possibility.
He's still alive, brother. Made a new video a few months ago.

Last time I went to a flower shop it was to buy a flower crown for my little cousin who I was taking to the Renaissance festival. She was a fairy knight or something. Had a pink and purple shield and everything.

He's going to have to do something else to amplify and accelerate this process. Go
They have to deal with these NGO’s and religious organizations supporting this. What’s infuriating is all these “humanitarian” agencies - and yes I’m including churches - that are inviting them into small towns and making sure they get all the gibs the natives could never dream of. This is a massive industry and if it isn’t dealt with this will never end.

I was reading Salman Rushdies Knife: Meditations After an Attempted Murder when he mentioned how Jimmy Carter condemned him for offending muslims and justified the fatwa that led to his being attacked by a jihadist. I was curious so I looked it up, it's worse than he described.

Later, when American hostages were held in Iran, I learned more about the fundamentalist beliefs that separated many Iranians from most other Moslems.

Although more difficult to comprehend, their seemingly radical statements and actions are obviously sincere. The melding of fervent religious faith and patriotism during the long war with Iraq has created an environment that has contributed to the furor caused by Salman Rushdie's book, ''The Satanic Verses.''

He straight up says that blasphemy for Muslims is worse than blasphemy for Christians:

A negative response among Christians resulted from Martin Scorsese's film, ''The Last Temptation of Christ.'' Although most of us were willing to honor First Amendment rights and let the fantasy be shown, the sacrilegious scenes were still distressing to me and many others who share my faith. There is little doubt that the movie producers and Scorsese, a professed Christian, anticipated adverse public reactions and capitalized on them.

''The Satanic Verses'' goes much further in vilifying the Prophet Mohammed and defaming the Holy Koran. The author, a well-versed analyst of Moslem beliefs, must have anticipated a horrified reaction throughout the Islamic world.
Then talks about muh poor offended muslims and how we need to be careful in defending him lest they get angry and offended, even the "moderate ones"

The death sentence proclaimed by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, however, was an abhorrent response, surely surprising even to Rushdie. It is our duty to condemn the threat of murder, to protect the author's life and to honor Western rights of publication and distribution. At the same time, we should be sensitive to the concern and anger that prevails even among the more moderate Moslems.

Ayatollah Khomeini's offer of paradise to Rushdie's assassin has caused writers and public officials in Western nations to become almost exclusively preoccupied with the author's rights.

While Rushdie's First Amendment freedoms are important, we have tended to promote him and his book with little acknowledgment that it is a direct insult to those millions of Moslems whose sacred beliefs have been violated and are suffering in restrained silence the added embarrassment of the Ayatollah's irresponsibility.

I have no idea why anyone revers Jimmy Carter. As a philanthropist, he's far outdone by Herbert Hoover and as a president, he's one of the worst.

This.
Ultimately the ICE raids as they are aren't really removing a lot of illegals. But the rhetoric and imagery trump is putting forth harsh and punishing. I am guessing and hoping he has other plans to genuinely accelerate this process but for now scaring them into self deporting seems to be the way to go.
The >insert facism/nazism/racism talking point seems to be helping with this actually. The more Trump is painted as a ism dictator continues to paint an image that if you are illegal you are at risk of being shoa'd.

I mean sure this is all conjecture but we keep seeing rumblings of illegals not showing up for work here and there so id wager to guess its working for now. Question is how long does it work before they realize ICE is underfunded and slow, currently.
