That's a thing? In all of my years of life, I never stopped to ask myself if male and female assholes had any distinctions. I realize that the undercarriage musculature is extremely different between the sexes, but minor adjustments to anus position never crossed my mind as relevant to anything.

This does give me an idea for a new surgery, anal lifting, because why shouldn't the anus be relocated about an inch closer to the front of the pelvis after you've shaved away at the pelvis to make room to shift the rest of the hardware forward. It's in the same position as a vagina, which makes it extremely gender euphoric for trannies that want to keep their penis and be a futa.

So, um, if something like this happens, do they get a refund or do they have to pay out of pocket for their next surgery?

No refunds, because they had a surgery that they were informed the risks of. They took the risk, even though it was likely vastly understated. Revisions may or may not be covered by insurance depending on an individual’s policy, and what needs to be fixed. As in, is it a medical necessity or just an aesthetic need.

Personally, I don’t agree with any of these surgeries being covered, either by insurance or by the relevant government. They are cosmetic surgeries that serve no medical purpose, and should be in there with all the other cosmetic surgeries as self-pay only.

Not to mention that the chance of the butcher even seeing them again for a revision consult is low. Most butchers refuse to look at other butcher’s work for revisions too, partly because SRS is so unregulated that every butcher has his own style and it can be difficult to recognize wtf that other guy did. Most of the ones with particularly grisly mutilations are completely shit out of luck. He's fortunate that he even had work done on his urethra and an emergency "zero depth" vaginoplasty to keep himself from dying.

In this guy's case, maybe he can get medical malpractice for the damage done to his urethra. Maybe. I'd assume there'd be some risk involved while since it's tinkered with during surgery. It all depends on what paperwork he signed. Even then, he signed up to be his butchers's latest test subject. Experimental surgery is considered to have significant risk by default, covered by insurance or not.

I've been a common browser of this thread for quite a bit now, even before I joined Kiwifarms. I've seen the non infected and the infected. I've seen the bloody and the healed. But holy shit this is so disgusting and it does need to be outlawed.

How the hell does that even work? The way SRS is done is fucking crazy but at least there is some logic there, you need donor tissue from somewhere and why not re-use whatever you're lopping off anyway.
