Frito pies and enchiladas were the fucking bomb when I was in elementary. High school we had Dominos and Subway - with the V cut - to supplement the usual cafeteria fare. But I'll be damned if it wasn't hard to resist eating a burger or 3

ETA, Just squinted at the dates. this was before the massive price hikes. This is actually good news. Hopefully its even less now that the prices are insane.

Not quit amigo. Filing joint makes your single 100K income turn into 2 50k incomes. A married couple only making 100k is not a lot of money.. You end up with a 2% discount. But if you make less than 94K its only 12%. Make 1 dollar too much and you get a 10% tax hike thanks!

Buying school lunch was actually optional at my school. Most days I had my own lunch from home.When you entered the cafe you could go strait to the tables with your own lunch, or go through the kitchen and buy the school lunch and then go to the register and pay $1.35 for it.
IIRC the only options for dink where milk or chocolate milk. I don't think there was such a thing as lactose intolerance in the '90s.

I think the plan is to take our military from the joke Joe Biden turned it into and return it to something so fierce that the threats will sink in much deeper, allowing for his diplomacy to get done much quicker and more smoothly
