Are you fucking retarded? China has invented more than the West. Their civilization predates many Western ones. Up until the Communist revolution (and maybe a bit before) it was probably one of the most innovative and advanced societies on the planet. America thinks that they're old going back about 300 years... China has thousands.
When mongoloid British people were clicking rocks together , China had already invented a scale model of the entire country to lay the emperor to rest in including rivers of Mercury that accurately mapped all of their major rivers with scale models for their provinces. When the Spanish were picking their noses, Chinese had already made terracotta warriors each with different faces to protect the emperor in life and death. When Germanic people were busy scraping rock drawings on caves and making runes, the Chinese had already perfected a writing system and an academic class to record literally everything that happened. Chinese history is one of the most well documented histories in the entire world because they fucking wrote down everything.
To imply that one of the most advanced civilizations for centuries is incapable of making a quality AI with literally nothing is simply ignorant.... You're talking about the race of people that figured out how to eat with two fucking sticks.

Here’s the problem.
Let me start with one example.
Rome contacted China. How? They sailed there. Could China have discovered Rome? Sure they could have, except they had an irrational prejudice against building boats with keels that could navigate oceanic waters. They had fucking gigantic flat bottomed river boats, and because that’s what they built, they retroactively justified it as “correct.”
China had iron, China had gunpowder. What did China do? They decided that the correct use of gunpowder was with bamboo tubes and launching arrows. End of discussion.
I’d argue that Europeans came to dominate the planet when they put cannons on boats. Why didn’t China do that? Because they decided they were correct in not doing so.
It’s a shit ton of arrogance institutionalized. The more they talk about what a great ancient civilization they were and how they deserve to rule the planet, the further they get away from running a practical society that can support their ambitions.
How does the Chinese ruling class respond to criticism?
China will always be a failed civilization because nothing works right. If a bunch of people pay for apartments in a tofu dreg high rise and it falls apart, there’s no recourse. You have to have a good apartment to have enough social status to complain, who cares if you would have had it if you didn’t get screwed? The CCP has no interest in correcting these issues
