A VPN is not bulletproof. Without other opsec measures it is completely useless and this thread has shown countless examples of pedos failing opsec.

Most of them lives in 3rd world shithole. The only ones that were caught tend to live in 1st world countries where law-enforcement is more competent enough to catch these guys.

They could be working quickly because they may have a credible threat and they are trying to roll up the people involved. My guess is that they’ve been in to some of these people since the Rupnow shooting.

While I don't disagree that they are probably working quickly I still think the email is fake. With them being classified as a top of the line terrorist threat I would assume that the government would operate in a way to not tip them off.

And even while they don't keep any logs, if they get legal process about an existing account from the Swedish government (whether initiated in or outside Sweden), they have to capture ongoing information.

Yes, but LE have to identify the account first. Since the only explicit identifier is a randomly generated number, that's much harder to crack (though not impossible) than other VPNs which collect email address, credit card, etc.

Still, the best defense from glowies is not committing crimes.
