Nvidia isn't going anywhere. They're such a diversified company at this point that a loss in AI can be made up in gaming or even general server compute hardware. At one point, Nvidia was even trying to make automotive chips, which may be an area of growth given existing supply shortages of the conventionally accepted chips because of shuttered fabs. At worst, they lose some market cap. Nvidia's actual product is top notch and they lack any meaningful competition from AMD at the high end. Honestly, if I were the funny leather jacket man, I'd be low balling Intel right about now to buy them out and seize control of CPU manufacturing so I could really push a unified cpu-gpu future. Even the manufacturing capacity is extremely valuable even if you can't compete with TSMC. Just fire the useless jeets Intel currently has on staff and fix their mindless corporate culture that favors throwing an endless army of PhDs at any problem that appears.
